  1. what is the date of reg on your car?
  2. jeez - loads of stuff over the years. My first garage was an FSO garage ( ) - we had a pickup my mate was doing a PDI on - road tested & had a horrible rattle from the rear - had it on a ramp, nope - all ok. I went out on road test sat in the rear pickup area while my mate drove - noise coming from under the flat bed. We pulled it off & found a load of Polish beer bottles in the chassis - all half painted body colour as well from the factory! had a proper Essex birds white SL in - pulled the seats out for work & found a used condom :hurl: loads of dodgy porn in various cars!
  3. no no no no no no no! deffo no! opposite to yes! NO! NO!! NO!!!! are those doors opening the opposite way round or am I on crack?! If so whatever is more definate & final than NO!!!!!
  4. theres no real "set standard" but here is some info: http://www.zdriver.com/forum/300zx-z32-tech-tips-273/stage-charts-14070/ everyone has different opinions & will probably disagree! LOL!
  5. replied bud :)
  6. ps - cant edit but hydrocarbons are basically unburnt fuel
  7. hi - all machines are different, but if the CO was ok then it is likley to be the HC reading (hydrocarbons) High HC readings are a result of poor combustion & can be caused by many things - ignition faults, air leaks etc See if you can find out what the readings were & I'll take a look :)
  8. hi bud - what were the actual readings on the printout?
  9. LOL! had mine in for nearly 10 years now - all good, no harm!! :p
  10. bit of info by a helpful zedder ;) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?29063-Boost-Jets!
  11. yup - smaller jets = more restriction = higher boost before the wastegate opens
  12. LOL! It might actually work out ok - the auto one could cut in first & the manual one could keep boosting after - the balance bar would equalise the pressure anyway. Try it & let us know how you get on!! :D
  13. yea - I am using 1.0mm jets. All engines respond differently & would say try 1.2mm first.
  14. No - there is no camber adjustment as standard on the front suspension. If it is that noticable then I would first check to see if anything is worn/bent if it has been lowered then this can give increased negative camber - the only way to cure this is with aftermarket adjustment shims or adjustable arms
  15. LOL @ position 3 "or when towing a trailer"!! would be a great look for a zed!!
  16. I know over the years I have had a few people PM me asking for options for phone installations on Mercedes that left the factory with out the phone prep option. It was very expensive to retrofit the Mercedes system (over £1500 last time I checked) & the only option was a Parrot stand alone system that did not work though the cars controls. I have now found an aftermarket system that will give full factory operation of the phone system for a lot less. Works in most models from around 2003/2004 onwards. Also available for BMW's & VW/Audi I cant remember who I have spoke to about this but if anyone wants more info then let me know :)
  17. If you want to keep the Eibachs & dont want the expense of Coilovers then the best choice IMO is KYB AGX shocks - I have them & they are an excellent combo with the Eibachs :)
  18. Check out the reviews on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Veet-Men-Hair-Removal-Creme/dp/B000KKNQBK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1335362370&sr=8-1 PMSL!!
  19. oh yea - thats really good that is. In fact I now have some inspiration for my own car
  20. got mine here: http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=2981 pretty good price really & they were very helpful. Much better than the cheaper non genuine ones IMO :)
  21. I would imagine the point was that say for example I was an MOT tester (which I am) and I was the type of tester that issues dodgy MOT's (which I'm not) then I probably wouldnt want that broadcast for VOSA, the Police & everyone else to see!!
  22. Karma - HA! have seen too much shit happen to really good people while real scum of the earth get away with murder to believe in Karma!! Send it to me & I'll cash it LOL!!
  23. Nah - I'm far worse - I wouldnt have even bothered asking!!
