at the crank is not too hard on a healthy engine: induction, exhaust (decat will help), chip, boost increase to 1 bar,underdrive pulley should see you around 400 ish. if you want that figure at the wheels then bigger tubs/injectors etc is needed. whatever route you will deffo need an uprated auto box oil cooler & even then the box may not last long! plan for a fast road rebuild!! (or manual conversion ;) )

the biggest problem with the 18g's is that they take 3 years to fit! :wack:

both, in fact iv disconnected my 'leccy aerial as i think they look pants up!! reception is fine through the rear screen. solder the centre core of both leads to the centre pin & the outer shielding of both leads to the outer part of the terminal. tidy up with some insulation tape - job done :)

it will only fail if there is evidence of "excessive heat" applied to the joint. a little bit of gentle warming is often all thats needed & will not do any harm! its usually just the locknut that is seized & heat can be applied just to this.
