  9. LOL!! all those "FACT's" - its not Maccas is it?!?!?!?!?!
  10. its not just the fact that stock internals cant handle more power, but if you expect 10 year old components with 80000 miles done on them not to break when you greatly increase the power then you are bonkers! :wack: & if your replacing the parts then you may as well get uprated parts!
  11. mines done 120,000 miles now (40,000 by me). still on origional tubs too :)
  12. was prob there but never flown a glider!! :wack:
  13. LOL!! :D you coming to the lakeside meet sunday mike??
  14. LOL! what were you racing? a 1.1 fiesta?!?! :D
  15. no cam belt fitted bud. they are all timing chains & maintenance free ;) check to ensure service history is up to date. a B service with all the extras runs at about £600+ at a merc dealer. although parts are actually very cheap if you do it yourself. body parts are cheap on a standard car, tho if you go AMG & need any AMG parts they are about 3x the price!! brake discs are prone to wearing out but again are quite reasonable in price. prob the most important part to check thoroughly is the roof! check for operation & make sure it all lines up ok. dont usually suffer with any probs apart from sticking roof switches on early models. if its fairly high mileage then check for oil leaks from head area. as i said tho, looked after they are a good solid car :)
  16. best of 4.7 secs timed with a Gtech pro  average of around 4.9 when i was having a play!! :D
