  1. i dont think he did! - he just went & done it!!
  2. coilovers = v good & bloody expensive uprated KYB shocks & Eibach springs = v good & inexpensive! ;) :D my review if anyone cares!!: http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=44300
  3. a cylinder leakage test is a very accurate way of diagnosing. each cylinder is pressurised independantly following a compression test. % leakage is then recorded, excessive leakage on a cylinder can then be traced - you will hear air escaping through the inlet manifold if the inlet valves are leaking & through the exhaust for the exhaust valves. bubbles or dumping of the coolant out of the rad cap indicates the head gasket has blown accross a water way. excessive blowing out of the oil filler cap shows worn pistons/bores.
  4. yea, thats waaaaaaaaaaay to fast for an auto!!
  5. fast road rebuild is prob the best bet. or fit a manual :x:
  6. C36 - pah!! go test drive the new C55!!! :D
  7. right - reversing lights are not part of the test, so you can ignore those anyway. the foglight must be installed either centrally or to the o/s of the vehicle needs to emit red light & have a tell tale on its switch. what have they actually failed it on??
  8. LOL, drove a SL 65AMG bi turbo a while back - now there just silly!!
  9. just got the spec through, will do 0-62.5mph in 5.0 secs!! not bad for an automatic 4x4!!!
  10. lightening the crank assembly will increase power & allow the engine to rev more freely in the same way as fitting lighter pulleys & f/wheel. balancing improves longetivity of the engine & allows the engine to rev higher more safely
  11. balancing the crank is always a good idea, but wont help in this situation. what the pully does is help damp out the shock of the firing pulses. not worth worrying about IMO & theres been no documented evidence of it causing problems on a Z32
  12. its usually if the wires have oxidised (corroded). older wiring can suffer from this. using a decent flux cored solder can help

  19. been 3 times now - its my fave destination!! :) theres no way you will fit it all in in 2 weeks so dont even try!! you'll end up rushing about & wont appreciate it! best advise is plan all you want to do before you go, that way you wont waste a day or 2 trying to sort it all out when you get there! discovery cove with the dolphin swim was probably one of the best things iv done in my life! it is a little expensive but you are there for the whole day, get fed, swim with dolphins, get to swim with & feed stingrays, sit on a white sandy beach & get another day at Sea World (also a top day out! - check out thier roller coaster "Kraken"!! ) the Disney package comes in so many varietys, check to see what one suits you best! you can buy tickets just for one park all the way up to 14day hoppers that allow you access to all the parks as you want. prob better with small kids for a long pass TBH, blizzard beach water park is a must to check out IMO. Universal Studios do various deals too with thier other parks & is better for older "kids" IMO ;) Islands of Adventure has some top rides! :hyper: Busch Gardens is a nice day out with some top rides too! a bit of a drive but worth it! If you plan on doing shopping then visis Belz Shopping Mall, oh & take the very bare minimum in your cases going out! 1st time we went I had to buy another extra large case :o :D eating out - Ponderosa for brekkie everytime for me!! about £3 for eat all you can - & theres everything from cooked breakfast, cereals, fruit, cakes, jelly, pancakes, ice cream etc etc!!! Shoneys do a nice lunch & cant go wrong with a steak at Sizzlers in the evening!! Black Angus steak house is top grub too!! if your into sea food then check out Angels on the 192, very nice food in a 50's style diner! soooooooo much choice tho  could go on for hous here!!
