  1. G Henson? And he tans his legs :D :D
  2. no can't be Wembley - it's not finished yet as you can see here Google Maps
  3. OK I managed to snaffle a Cup Final ticket off eBay and hared down to Cardiff like a rat up a drainpipe but when I got here, the Millenium Stadium is shut and there's no fans here? WTF??
  4. What, like this one? ;) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=44238&highlight=insurance oh well, maybe third time lucky :D
  5. Hallo matey - camber is a regular problem especially since the front is not adjustable. There have also been some camber kits which are for shims to readjust the saggy springs to the right dimensions. Some history here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=18370&highlight=camber which has a link from Paul to spring dimensions. That was 4 years ago and have I fixed it yet? Nope hahaha :D My suspicion is that fresh non-saggy springs and dampers should solve the problem but no time/money to test it. Mike at MJP (trader section) said he could get springs wound to size but never followed that up. Camber kit thread here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=89961&highlight=camber+kits
  6. Now now - of course everyone's welcome here, all I meant was if he was looking for some 1988 ZX specific answers he'd probably stand a better chance at ZClub. Although, as legrath says, if anyone here knows the answer, I'm sure they'll help.
  7. what's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here
  8. If it's a 1988 300ZX you've got, it'll be a Z31 ("our" Z32 model was 1989 onward) and if so, you might find more people with Z31 experience on http://www.zclub.net Good luck either way :D
  9. scrawni, have you checked out how difficult it is to get a car into Australia? You have to get an import licence in advance. The compliance cost could cost you thousands. Here is a page from a bloke who imported a Skyline http://members.pcug.org.au/~jdeakins/ and here are some more official ones http://www.aaa.asn.au/touring/bringing.htm and http://www.customs.gov.au/site/page.cfm?u=4371 For more Z-specific advice on importing http://www.aus300zx.com is the Oz forum. Good luck Cobber :D
  10. Ah, OK. Was worth a try. Still, that's not exactly the behaviour of an innocent idiot, is it?
  11. No worries - of course he could be an innocent bystander whose email has been hacked but from the history and his reaction, it seems unlikely.
  12. Are they in the same country or is he proxying from all over?
  13. Oh look I found another one from him from Sept 2005 where he claims to be in Ibiza: more f*ckwittage here. I mean good grief...
  14. So if anyone had got into swopping emails with him and clicked on any of the links in his email - bosh possibly bye bye your money and bye bye your PC.
  15. The most important thing is he seems to be associated with a phishing site - i.e. one that fools people into entering some personal details and/or installs malware on your PC to either get your details to empty your bank/credit card accounts or do some other not-nice stuff.
  16. Oh no, please put his posts back so others can see the fun. He can sling insults at me until the purple zeds with no back spoilers come home :xxx: (If it's a pain to put the posts back, people, don't worry, just put these usernames saturnofj or apple_cinnamon or applecinnamon into the searchy thing and have a giggle at the idiocy of the past). My concern was that if the guy was - as he seems to be - a phisher, members should be warned for the sake of their credit cards / bank accounts. What IP was he posting from?
  17. And with a little bit more use of the search-y thing I have discovered that this gentleman has several logins (no law against that) as follows: saturnofj (since April 2005) Location:Barcelona Spain Moving to Luton: "I´ll be doing a PHD master in the University" email to Gio (Apr 2007) Names: stv me, muher727@hotmail.co.uk, Frank Location: Barcelona Spain apple_cinnamon (April 2003 to Sept 2003) Locations: Sverige - Sweden, Barcelona Spain applecinnamon (Sept 2004) Location: Kent Name: Jason applecinnamon at the ZClub (Sept 2004) Name: cherry Location: Spain, going to move to England So, Frank, Jason, Cherry, whoever, how did the PhD at Luton University go?
  18. The last few lines (I can post the whole thing if you like but it's basically the same as the first post in this thread) of the email read So, using "View source" to see what the link actually linked to, I found the following:
  19. I believe every Z32 (NA or TT) was fitted with cats as standard from the very beginning. But how many of them still retain their cats is another question!
  20. OK gents, for your info, I received an email via my site from saturnofj a day or so back with almost exactly the same questions. I was (I think you can guess) a tad irritated as I hate being asked the same question over and over again especially when I already answered it at least twice before over the years (as have a lot of other members). It contains a link inviting me to "Play Conspiracy now" and also came from a UK hotmail address (muher727@hotmail.co.uk) which bore no relation to his name in the email "Frank" or any of his other claimed names over the years. I got suspicious as well as irritated :smash: so I looked at the source code of that link which contained (DON'T visit this) g.msn.com/8HMAENUK which I googled. I recommend you do the same. Now some of the mods here are kindly folk who say he might have been inadvertantly infected. And if so, I apologise and admit my mistake. But until there is proof that saturnofj is innocent and not a phisher, I advise you to take great care. Cheerio, Gio aka Captain Paranoid

I just noticed something - if you troll over to http://www.zclub.net/forum/index.php and then scroll down to their "What's Going On" section, underneath Today's Birthdays (like we've got) there is an Upcoming Events list which I guess is taken automatically from the Calendar. Could we do this here and would it help?
