  1. I had them replaced as cooper. No issues. No idea on diameter, sorry
  2. Get the fuel lines replaced while at it. When i was doing my injector, original hoses were falling apart. Gives you peace of mind.
  3. I have sfs hoses. Havent noticed them leaking. Perfect fit and seems to be good quality. I wanted to buy another set for my second zed and noone had them in stock so would have to wait a bit for them to get manufactured. Dont be fooled by vendors saying they are in stock, ask them to be sure.
  4. I would say fuel lines at filter and then dripped on hot turbo.
  5. https://www.copart.co.uk/lot/33053370 Is that the one that was advertised on ebay for a while for way too much money?
  6. I am just replacing mine. Original that i peeled has shrunk to 7mm and was looking greenish after 27 years of sun i bought mine pure black on uk ebay 50metres of 9mm pinstripe for £9.45. Its not exact oem but in my opinion no one notices exact shade of pinstripe, just if its there or not. It also depends on cars on cars colour on the way ir looks. Not gonna recommend it as i have no idea how long it takes for it to fade but let me know if you want a link.
  7. Couldnt take it anymore had to go look.Found a booklet in the boot, it is street advance z.
  8. No hope in getting under the car to get pictures now but found some from before. i might actually have the Tein Street Advance coilovers, for the price i paid it would be right
  9. I actually have a set of tein flex z and full driftworks arms with rose joints. Looking at whats online i seem to have old style ones full orange not black, nit sure if they would be any different or just the colour differs now. I have done only a few miles on it and i found it surprisingly stable and even comfortable to some extent and no audible noise was coming from suspension. It felt a lot more stable and less bumpy than my other z with standard tired suspension (only arb bushes worn, so not nackered suspension). Just so you know with flex z you will still need to reuse top parts of shocks. Atleast I had to 2 years ago when fitted. You can replace all of them yourself as long as you are not afraid of a broken bolt. But will definatelly need to be set up by a professional. If you decide to go with a rose joint suspension. Consider adding uprated tie rod ends just to make steering feel like suspension. Japspeed makes them. If you want any pictures to see how the whole thing looks let me know.
  10. UK models dont have fog lights but have indicators next to numberplate and black blanks with no bulbs to sides. Jdm have foglights next to numberplate and indicators on the sides next to them. Unfortunatelly they are not interchangeable. It is possible to change them, you would probably have to run new wires and join them to the rear foglight fuse and have them work at the same time or run a separate switch.
  11. Love the idea ?Got to have to go looking for pictures
  12. ??Thanks guys. Love you
  13. So it is better to swap the injectors into an early fuel rail and use an adaptor kit? I am getting confused with it now.
  14. Thanks.I will not need the adapter as the injectors come in a fuel rail already. I am just wondering if new style fuel rail will drop in to lower manifold that was mated to early fuel rail. Would the rubber gaskets at the lower manifold differ?
  15. I will be dropping in new style injectors in place of old style. I am getting them with a whole oem fuel rail. Do i need the lower intake manifold aswell? I cant seem to find any information that i do. Is there anything else i need to get apart from new plugs?
  16. Would love to attend. Unfortunatelly both zeds are sick and i will be working that weekend. Will attend the next one.
  17. Anyone have any leads maybe?
  18. Hi, i am looking for a good used standard injector early style for NA. Let me know if you have any. Thanks.
  19. Thanks for help everyone. What a f... job it is to get the heads off with engine in. Fingers and arms all scratched up to armpits... driver side is off. Looks like bad workmanship caused the problem. Head bolts have been reused. Might not have been torqued properly. 2 came off with little to none struggle. So i take it the head just lifted a bit with some boost. Found leak marks from two water ports on cylinder three and one water port on cylinder 5. Passenger side head still to come off. Nothing seems to be damaged so new gaskets and new bolts and will be good to go again. Any trade secrets on how to pull a dipstick tube?
  20. I would use it as parts car. Wouldn't try to revive it for sure. My tt engine is in the process of being dissasembled and could be something catastrophic as cracked heads or block. And my na is running a bit lumpy. So i was toying with an idea to get this for the engine just in case for a replacement or a swap maybe. But how good will the engine be after 15 years of sitting in a field? How long will it last if it is running.
  21. Tax ran out at 2004 so been parked for 15 years. I will probably go have a look at it this weekend. Just out of curiosity.
  22. What do you guys reckon would be the value of the car considering the engine is as good as they say? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F312762130789
  23. Thanks for the tip., unfortunately i do not have the space or the equipment to remove the engine. Managed to get the belt off and did not destroy anything. Very stressful experiance. I have done the belt before with locking kits.
  24. Really short progress. Was sitting all this time in the garage. Managed to get a couple spare hours this weekend. Radiator out, plenum off. Cambelt coming off hopwfully today. Then heads will come off. Question. How do i drain coolant from the block? Risk snapping a bolt on the block or is there a hole i can stick a hose with a vacuum pump on it?

There is a handful in Aberdeen, i have two. I have seen another standard red uk model with ebay taillights. Pretty sure he doesnt come here. And seen one swb tt for sale a couple months ago. Not sure where that went.
