Try pressing the coilpacks on as hard as you can, then disconnect the battery for an hour or so to reset the ecu, might work, worth a go. If not you can either get coil packs from andyZ in traders area, mike at MJP in the traders area, or courtesey in the states by mail order. Good luck.

Typical running costs; Ive had mine 12 months nothing major go wrong, has cost me a grand to keep on the road, so £20 a week, obviously thats not including petrol insurance and tax!

John, I think they come off similar to stickers, with a hairdryer, but be careful with the rear one you dont want to take the heater off with it. Looking good though.:D

I dont think the price can be compared to an escort really, but i will!!!!;) The zed cost about £35k new, the escort maybe £8k?? The said zed would be worth about £4k to £5k now, the escort would be worth £400 to £500. So the escort is worth about 10 times less than the zed, comparitively the escort is worth about 5% of its original price wheras the zed is worth 10 to 15% and on a 13 year old car I think its pretty good.:)

Is yours a J spec and if so does it have a parking ariel switch? If so you can use that for a fog switch, just need to fit an l.e.d to come on when i use, ill find the link to when I did mine......

Quick thread hijack here; After having SE chip put on mine the ehaust tails seem to get cacked up qicker than they used to, and my mpg has dropped from over 20 to about 16or 17 i guess this is normal as to make it faster it must use more fuel, thus less mrg and more emmisions, just thought id check tho. Hmmm....I seem to of answered my own question!!;)

I think he's a really good driver, just the cars he's had that are letting him down at the moment, put him in a top taem and he'd be back up there behind Shuey like he used to be.

It cirtainly is danny, my first ever meet, id only had the zed a week or so then (the first zed that is!).

Sureley we have a solicitor, or someone who knows one on here, if so i need a coulpe of bits of advice. 1) My offer of fixed penalty has come through for my speeding (39 in a 30). I have the photo evedence which shows 2 pictures taken 2 seconds apart. On the first my registration is clearly readable but on the second it isnt. Anyone know where I stand on this? 2) I got a parking fine from CP plus at a hospital, only £15 but its more the principal, i parked behind other unticketed cars one of which was a CP plus van, yet only my car was targeted. Luckily i have a disposable camera in the car so I took pics of them etc. Anyway I wrote them a letter and they replied this morning telling me ive still got to pay. Anyway, the question I have with this is do these firms really have the power to take you to court???? Or do they just scare people who know no better into paying?

This will probably sound really stupid, but you have checked your wheelnuts are tight havent you. I had a creek, well more of a clunck every time i either accelerated or braked, I looked at everything, but since swapping the wheels over (sock for stock) it went away, figured one of the old ones might have been a wee bit loose.... .....probably why ive got a knackered wheel bearing now!!! The tightness of the front callipers could be worth a check, they may rattle a bit if theyre not proper tight. Good luck stu.
