Red stitch on 99 Z Jap stock seats?
Only for the version R, to match the steering wheel. What I don't get is why they put these with blue seats, while the version S got red seats.

Late version S featured these seats but they're not leather. Assuming you mean beige leather, yes that was an option on 300ZX trim but I don't think there's any red stitching.

Club Annual Meet & AGM 2017 - Register of Interest
Hoping to make it over again. Probably fly over Sunday morning with the missus. Won't be bringing the car though :(

VVT Rattle in NA - anyone had this
Second drive today after timing belt service (and exhaust work) and my car developed an actual exhaust leak on the way home. Needless to say, after reading this thread I was very paranoid

What did you do to your zed today?
Still in England. Burned through my money there for a while!

What did you do to your zed today?
I'm back  Rained as soon as I left but anyway. Still driving like new. Brakes felt a bit shit, but that's probably just corrosion on the discs from sitting up. Slight chirp in front of the engine at idle.

Any chance it's the valve lifters?

No turning back.
Wikipedia can be edited by anyone. A webpage, article or book can be written by anyone. If there's no referenced sources, you don't know what you're talking about either way.

1998 n/a
Wouldn't you want it insured against theft and damage for the rest of the year? Though perhaps this could go on home insurance if you get that garage.

No turning back.
Ultimately it's probably nothing more than a temporary economic downturn, and likely an exaggerated one at that. Sounds better to me than diminishing sovereignty and gradual descent into the fourth Reich!

Value: standard vs modified
Oil pumps aren't known to fail on this engine so I'd stick with the Nissan one.

Fibreglass bumpers.
Surely skirts should discourage it if anything? Nissan actually announced them as "sill protectors" as I recall. The obvious problem being that you won't see rust as soon.

Ultra Red Build Thread
Interior and exterior all back together. Underside of the bumper was quickly sanded and sprayed over some scratches. Took me about five hours to fit the bumper today. It really wasn't so bad other than the screw from hell (beside expansion tank) and bloody hands - perfect alignment from the first couple of bolts. I don't see why so many Americans struggle with that.
