  1. Different to TT diff do you mean?
  2. Though I'm grateful to my missus for letting me use her car every day, driving a 1.5L N16 Almera is absolutely soul-destroying. So hopefully this hibernation will end very soon. The other week I removed the front bumper, which wasn't really too bad despite the bloody hands. Today, I fired it up for the first time in over three months, and it sounds perfect. Removed the front undertray and got it into the garage - after we pushed the other car out. So next step is to drain the oil and coolant, maybe Sunday. I'll probably remove the front bumper support bar for easier access too. Oh and these came this morning for my wheels!

  6. The colour scheme, with a decent execution.

  8. I like the idea though. Would look well in an LP2 Z if done properly.
  9. Fair play to him. Will we have a new member in the not-so-distant future? :) Worried about how much that car is being passed around. Hopefully it's just because it's cheap and then the realisation of tax hits them
  10. They've improved a lot in that regard actually, though I think most forum software still does it better.
  11. Although I agree it would be nice to see more in the way of build/project threads, I think that thread still has its place. You're not going to create your own thread just to say things like "washed the car today". It's great for small, regular updates like that.
  12. I suppose there's just a greater likelihood in a highly-strung supercar. No matter what you do, they're going to generate a lot of heat. You do still see it sometimes in mundane cars though. Wasn't there a problem with the Opel Insignia a few years back?
  13. Scary. Do they know what caused the fire?
  14. You'll have better luck on zclub.net
  15. Yeah and he said "when I lived there". The car isn't in Wales. :p
  16. Wales? But yeah, most UK insurers offer policies in NI as far as I know. Nothing compared to the bullshit we have to deal with in the South.
  17. I'm even tempted at that price!
