The best thing about my zed.....is sitting in it with a silly grin :smw: Neighbours think I'm nuts :confused: mainly cos the autobox is f**ked and I cant move......its starts tho :rofl:

I must admit I'm going to be picky when it comes to fibre work, I'm sick of buying stuff that looks good but when you get it it's a piece of poo :eek: So far lukes stuff has been spot on, the twinZ looks good and seems to be getting good reviews. Im prepared to pay for good stuff these days, tired of fixing sub standard crap from 'copiers'. I almost got to the point of considering making my own fibre work with rainbowztt. He put tons of hrs in helping me sort out p*ss poor fibre work from reputable traders :confused: Anyway, I think I may still try and hunt down a twinz, one went on ebay in USA for approx £200 recently, so u never know ;)

Is anyone actually going to be distributing the Twinz fascias in the UK or was it just a gust of hot air blowing through the forum :rofl: Venom or twinZ :confused:

Ive got a jap TT amd im looking at installing a set of uk clocks. Q1. Will these automatically read true mph speed without any mods? BTW im going manwell so will this affect the reading? Q2. Will this lift the speed restriction of 112mph? Cheers peeps Marc

you've got a point there slick, ive got a spare auto box but was considering the worth of going manwell. Nice thing about autos is that when you gas it they dont let off like a manwell, they just keep on getting faster n faster, within the national speed limit of course ;) ....sometimes :eek: My mate paul, rainbowztt, has a manual and it has a bit more appeal to me. Im just being careful cos I know what a money pit these cars can be :D So far my cars been well looked after, only prob being the box that went while I was gassing it :confused: I would prefer to do the job myself so I know exactly whats going back in the car, or at least be around while its being done so I get to know the inside of the car a bit more. Are there any real pain in the @rse jobs involved in doing the conversion? Or is it fairly straight forward....I'm not a spak when it comes to mechanics so I dont mind working on the car. Marc

Can some of you very talented zedders give me an idea of the best way of going about a auto to manwell conversion, including the bits n bobs I will need to purchase to do the job properly. Do I need a diff ecu or propshaft etc What are the pitfalls and what do I need to be looking out for probwise. Cheers Marc

Sorry to disagree m8 but ebay is no safer, they dont give a crap either...eBay own paypal!!! Ive been had on ebay once and it was for more money than they protect you for. They were not interested at all. You take your chances...some you win some you lose. Best thing to do is check out a seller as best you can....if your not satisfied then dont buy....simple. As a registered biz user on ebay I get the usual plonkers who say they'll buy stuff n dont, it just costs me more money & time to relist. So I can see both sides.....sort of :p

Hey Markzx Do you get the feeling theres quite a lot of BLUE envy going on around here. They may all start bleeting in denial, but as we know....thats the 1st signs of a guilty mind ;) Once they've had a bit of therapy they'll all be able to stand up, with a str8 spine, and gold their heads up high....and look upon the mighty blue zeds....as their master :rofl: Listen I can hear bleeting.... :D
