Yep its data tagged, but its now up to the local plod (perfect name) to find it then scan it for tags...not holding my breath tho, they didnt seem 4rsed to do much this morning...just the usual..er...yep..um...we'll let you know if we find it on our way round to service the speed cameras :xxx:

Zed broke down last nite :cry: Managed to get it home via rescue folk :) Moved nice FZR1000 over to make some room on the drive :dance: Woke up at about 4 this morning....... F**king bike been nicked :smash: :smash: :smash: only had it a month!! I dont beleeeve it :cry: Just need to fix my HT leads on the volvo then I'll have a car to drive today!!! But.... Onwards and upwards, Just not going to let them win by p*55ing me off, just focus on my business & make a little money to fix the car. Hope they crash & break their fookin necks!!!! :xxx: Anybody want some nice guitars for xmas....Ive got about 250 of them :)

I only did about a mile when I started to hear a slight whining noise then I stopped n called the 'men'. So what ever it is....I caught it early, perhaps damage may be limited. I suppose the Q? is how long is it likely to last if I clean the strainer...btw how long's string :slap: Yep I looked at the cleaner threads...so looks like I'll give that a go....if I can get under the car, lol. Thanks for the advise lads. Is it an easyish job to do? cheers

Well it had to happen sometime...... :rolleyes: My zed lost all power thru gearbox this eve, no traction what so ever :cry: Car was ok all day, then started to make a whining noise, then started losing power within minutes, then nowt. What are the classic symptoms of a f**ked auto box. Looks like the cars gonna be laid up til next year....maybe time to change car, maybe not....maybe a manual conversion. Problem is....dont want to throw good money after bad....spend 1500 on a box or save the cash & chop the car up for goodies....even tho Ive only just got it painted etc etc. Opinions pleeeez ;)

One other thing to look at bud.... if it appears you ar overheating and losing water....there is a small tube running from the neck of the rad to the expansion tank....if this is not connected properly both ends you will lose water as the rad cap seal opens to let water into the expansion tank....mine seemed to get disconnected once and I started to lose water...I couldnt find a leak anywhere, but everyday I would find the level dropped. I looked at all the fittings and found the exp tank tube had come adrift, plugged it str8 on...no probs ever since. HTH Other than that get it checked out soon other wise :cry: :cry: :cry:

2 rite bud, lot of folk doing exup swing arms n using larger tyres or using single side vfr...it drops right in. Got my bike a short while ago, absolutely mint condition, 20k on clock. Its not much fun for me n the missus cos I dont cane bikes anymore (when shes on it)...just a plodder these daze, so may sell it n get a cruiser :cool:

Mine looks f**kin awesome with the foggys on :tongue: and im sure it goes faster cos the air in front of the fog lamp is heated up by the heat from the bulb...therefore less dense....therefore less resistance.....therefore more speed.....Im pretty sure thats a sound theory :wack: But I rarely use them :cry: in case I get called a hole for looking goooooooood :cool:

I blended my side skirts with a lot of help from rainbowztt m8. I made mine sit flush with the body work so I didnt need to build the doors. If you add much to the doors you will need to remove metal from the leading edge of the door, hinge end, just to allow the door to swing open with out hitting the front wing. My opinion...dont add to the door. You could just try and blend the joins of the skirt. Mine are seamless and I used Monza 3 from 300zx styling via Greddy, but i needed to remove a lot of fibreglass to get a good fit and then do a ton of fibrework to get it right for me. All I can say is work with what you have and blend the joins rather than smooth the whole skirt into the front wing. I did build up my rear arches quite a bit to get a str8 line down the car but I cut the fibre a lot to achieve this. HTH Marc

Been thinking about a set of these myself from luke, certainly look good and are very nicely priced. Just cant decide 18's or 19's. I like the offset on my wheels cos they sit slightly further out than std zed wheels so I may be limited to 18's.
