Just rubbed down the original spoiler on the ol silver lady,,ready for a repaint. I've got the primer,, silver base & clear coat to do it in,, but Im now wondering what it would look like done in matt or satin black. What do you guys reckon??

This was done back in the 80s,, by a BIG money London car dealer,, with Aston Martins. TOO true, years ago we had coppers on the beat, with push bikes, that seemed to know everyones business, you could chat to them (respect em) as friends and tell them about potential dick heads in your area, and they would keep an eye on things. If you have a go at them lads, or worse hit em,, they are likely to come back at a later day and brick your windows. The safe way is to get a buddy that dont live (unknown) in your area to come along and kick the shit out of em. If they give you a problem. Maybe they just like your car, and were just, lads being lads,, but you cant take chances, a lot of kids just aint got no respect today :headvswal

The big toe, on the foot in Funky Si's post looks painfull, but all the other toe-nails on that foot are growing much flatter than all of mine. Ive had the problem for years, so i guess i could suffer another two, at least we could talk Zs while you were sorting em. Yes Black with Martini stripes,,, a well known 930 in the Porsche club. Also 911 S and Carrera 3 the one just before the SC. But once you drive the turbos the others seem :xxx: Never let off on a bend in any of em :nono: well not a tight fast one :shock: not so much a problem on the new ones, i think. Like you say Ronnie,, you have to respect the 3.3 930s,, its one animal that will bite back.

Carrera 4 is 4 wheel drive 3.600cc i think,,, maybe 3.2. Dont try n race one on the lanes in ya Z. Tiptronic is like auto box. Its been a long time,, pre 85 911s im ok with,, and the only one that would worry my TT (on the street & strip) out of that lot is the 3.3 turbo,, but on a circuit they are one hell of a car, but you got to know how to drive em,, and many guys that own them dont.
