Anyone had one??? Any tips on how to sort em??

Been pissing me off for a few years (on and off) seems worse on the right foots big little piggy, and plays up more in the summer months. Spoke to a chiropodist a while ago and he told me to cut a V in the middle of each problem nail, tried that, but found it to be a load of bo***cks. :xxx:

I remember Sybil had one removed in hospital, in an episode of Fawlty Towers, but the last time i went to one of those places, a Doc put his finger up my arse, followed by a camera up my dick, for a problem that (I thought) had nothing to do with those parts, needless to say, im a little reluctant to go back for more cattle market treatment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've never ever had problems with my nails. But a friend of mine use to get it quite badly. Had an operation where they cut at an angle, wide at the top, narrow at the bottom in the respective corner and allowed it to grow back out that way.

The whole thing makes me want to yak. So much so, that I found a lovely pic for you.

im a student studying podiatry at the moment (a fancy name for a chiropodist)

if yours looks anything like the picture you should go and get yourself some nail surgery.

its nothing too major... local anesthetic and about 30 mins per nail.

or you could wait two years and i can do it for you!!!

Ive got a hammer & some pliers m8 :wack:

only joking

I had mine pulled under local...no probs

The big toe, on the foot in Funky Si's post looks painfull, but all the other toe-nails on that foot are growing much flatter than all of mine.

Ive had the problem for years, so i guess i could suffer another two, at least we could talk Zs while you were sorting em, and i would feel a lot safer in the orifice department. In the meantime, is there a way you would recommend that i cut them??, ie straight accross, round etc.

What a great site this is, anything you want to know. Jeeves eat ya heart out.

Its always recommended that you cut your toe nails straight across. It's cutting them around that can cause the in growing toe nails.
