Yeah JAE is usually a big club meet so there will be plenty going i would think, i should have the V8 on the road for then (i'm hoping it'll be on the road for folville next month!)
  5. Well met a new member to the club at Folville, was nice to meet you buddy :D You'll have to get some pictures up on here!
  6. So much torque, can't wait :hyper: Have you done any more to the tuning yet John? What sort of MPG are you getting? lol
  7. Cheers buddy, there's another update going on the site tomorrow iof i get time, just started to build the short block up ready to go in the car next week. All 8 pistons are in and cranked down, the crank and everything is tightened to spec and the oil sump is ready to bolt on so just a case of transport and the block and gearbox can go in :hyper: Should be ready for the last shows of the season fingers crossed :D Nice to see you on here buddy, have you still got the 99 spec?
  8. That is lovely :D I think someone put that up before so it obviously didn't sell the first time
  9. I'll be very interested in this when it becomes available :D Well done guys and nice to hear off you again
  10. Sounds ideal buddy, might be an idea to set up a new thread to get numbers?
  11. It'd be good to see you buddy, haven't seen you since that photoshoot! :D

  14. Well found a very useful company in coventry who make 2500psi braided hoses! Off there tonight to drop the rack off tonight :D http://www.powersteeringstore.co.uk/hoses.htm
  15. I've been busy with the V8 otherwise i'd start organising some meets but as i can't make em doesn't seem much point in organising them  1 more month then i'll be back into the flow again
  16. Well i went to see it and i thought it was alright, some bits had me in tears especially the bit with the sex party
  17. Perfect, cheers Dave I didn't realise that was in there!
  18. Hi guys, I'm trying to find out what pressure the NA/TT power steering rack puts out through those metal pipes front and back. I only ask as i'm looking at replacing them with areoquip connectors and hoses but they're only rated to to a certain pressure? If anyone knows or could find out pretty sharpish as i need the pipes making up to get the subframe in and ultimately the V8 engine in. If i can't use aeroquip it means waiting another week for the engineer to get back. Cheers, Nick
  19. ...and can you include your address as well please mate?
  20. 28 (nearly 29), 8 years no claims bonus, insured with Adrian Flux, 2 A4 pages of mods declared including nitrous, £820 fully comp. Interestingly enough, requote for my new zed with the V8 in, £820 no change - simples! :D Just waiting till next year when i'll hit the magic 3-0 then i can move it to a classic policy and get a slightly bigger day to day car :hyper:
  21. Happy birthday Kev, hope you have a goodun :D
  22. I was going to say a third option of manual conversion would shed a bit of light on the subject
