  1. Good to hear buddy, I wondered whether you'd made any progress on getting it fixed! :)
  2. Bloody gorgeous! You lucky sod :D
  3. What a crap slow week it's been: Sunday night was the last chance i've had to work on the car, Monday night was spent completely re designing a website i look after that got hacked, Tuesday night was the first time i've been back to the pub quiz in 6 weeks, Wednesday I was up at 6am doing graphic design before work then last night i got back and was so exhausted i fell asleep till 10pm, Tonight is a works treasure hunt round a local village so i'll be out till gone 10pm again, Tomorrow night i'll get a couple of hours in the evening on it before the other half arrives then i'll be celebrating our 6 month anniversary on Saturday all day so no car work allowed then i'll be sending her on her way on Sunday morning before I end up getting nothing done again (sounds harsh i know but last weekend was the same and she ended up stopping till monday morning and i got 3 hours on the car and that was it) So Sunday will be a day of getting the engine to run without any leaks, fill the diff and drop it off it's stands and hopefully drive it out the garage and spin it round the other way! :hyper: Got a few little tidy up jobs to do like relocating the power steering pot to where the battery used to go and clamping all the wires and pipes up neatly round the engine bay. I've also got some rubber cushion mounts to go under the fuel pump which should hopefully quiet it down a little bit as it's a bit OTT at the moment bolted into the bodywork! More to come as i get chance to do it. Might try and do the fuel pump tonight when i get back as a quick 20 minute job. More to come as i get there :)
  4. That looks absolutely superb ;) I don't think i've ever seen a photo of your own zed before either!
  5. I know, i know - i was planning on coming up tonight then put my head down for 10 mins when i got back from work at 6 and only woke up at half 10 :headvswal I was meant to be working on the V8 all evening too dammit  Ah well i'll pop up after work on friday mate if that's alright?
  6. That looks like your house every time i've been up apart from the intercooler in the hallway
  7. Christ Pete i only wanted to see the bumper, if it involves doing perverse favours for you i might give it a miss
  8. I definately want to steal it now
  9. No problem buddy, it's incredibly quick and dirty but: and also spotted this silver zed up for breaking:
  10. Just removing the spoiler looks a little wrong: My personal thoughts are get a stock, despoilered bootlid with a plastic strip and get rid of that half plate and put a full one in then we're cooking on gas :)
  11. Good luck buddy, got my own coming up soon so fingers crossed you'll get through :D
  12. Take the spoiler off completely and just use the boot skin you have?
  13. No problem buddy, we usually do a sunday afternoon at a pub somewhere and grab a pint and something to eat
  14. Hello buddy, it's been a bit quiet on the midlands front for ages so as soon as i get the 600zx on the road i'll be sorting out a monthly meet again for everyone :) More than likely next month?
  15. You mean my Tommy Kaira spoiler? :) Still the best looking aftermarket spoiler available for the zed and i've still got it!
  16. From what i understand if the car you are towing is not taxed, mot'd or insured you must not tow it with the wheels on the ground. Even if it's on a 2 wheel trolley you need to have it off the ground unfortunately buddy.
  17. That's bloody lovely! :D Well done, whole car looks amazing!
  18. If you have any break in's Pete don't worry it'll just be the rear bumper that's gone missing...
  19. I've just bough PBryants table top for the V8 project - i think it's a really nice spoiler that really suits the car :)
  20. FunkySi would be having a wet dream right now if he could see this :D lol
  21. hahaha i was thinking exactly the same thing when i saw the thread
  22. I'm open on the subject, i agree with craigdavid that the chances of another planet holding the same life breeding properties are slight and the chances that their species existing overlap with ours is even more remote, add to that space travel for 1000s of years the chances are very slim they'd ever make it to our planet BUT there are some very weird unexplained things that are mentioned right back to the dawn of time about people visiting our planet and who knows it might be a reality :)
