  5. Hi there,i've just noticed that the door rubber on my passengers door is split, its split at the end at the top of the door post where the window slides up and down but it seems its the whole rubber you need to get that goes all the way round the bottom of the door to the door hinge. I have managed to source one from a 1990 H reg and was wondering if it will fit my 94 model? Any help would be great....Thanks
  6. :D Well said mate!
  7. :nono: nothing wrong wi Jocks?? ;)
  8. Yip he will step down...sometime,but i'm sure when he does his right hand man will be there to take over to keep up the work! Dont know whether he has ruined the country? Its hard to ruin a country that already got ruined by Tory leadership for all those years but he's certainly been the strongest leader we've had for many years. Its true to say that all parties have flaws but Labour seem to be the best of the bunch, not Tories and certainly not the fence sitting Lib Dems? But thats my opinion lol Damn shame that terror bill got thrown out today though??
  9. Nice one John!!Glad to see the slicktop went to a club member.Goodluck with the new car mate..... .....Oh and nice colour you got :D
  10. 89,000,Uk car, full history with receipts then def worth a look at the least. Yip,let us know how you get on today with the car Ron
  11. That is a definite, first time i sat in one i thought...I WANT ONE!But as Angusglover said, dont jump the gun and get the first one if i doesn't feel right, they can be expensive to fix TT or N/A if not looked after properly,i test drove loads before getting mine and eventually got mine (1 year later) in Kidderminster and i stay in Scotland but worth the drive down. Hope you get a nice example Zed :)
  12. I have a 94 N/A and has two pipes on the servo and an abs light on the dash when the ignition is turned?
  13. went to look at a car myself mate,a uk spec with full history but when i got there and looked at the engine bay and components i noticed the belt had also snapped, seller told me the aircon unit(compressor) had jammed forcing the belt to fray and snap, needed a new belt and unit to put right which was already there but in the end decided not to buy for other reasons with the car too,but it may not always be a case of neglect? The aircon belt is a seperate belt as is the power steering and alternator,3 ancilliary belts and a timing belt all in. Air conditioning units should be regularly serviced but personally if it was me i would still go and look at the car, test drive, check for leaks etc, you'll soon know if its a good or bad example, this forum and its members are good for advice and there is also a link i looked at when buying mine telling you what to look for when buying but having problems finding it??Still getting used to finding things on the forum :) Hope this has helped any and good luck with the car Cheers..Ron
