  8. Agree there mate, infact very harsh. The man died doing what he loved and done best, working with wild and sometimes very dangerous animals,at the end of the day it was his livelyhood whether working at his zoo or being onscreen for entertainment value,it doesn't matter whether you die at war or emphysema a death is a death and should be treated with more consideration.
  9. yip i'd do it yourself and funnily enough it has one of the easiest oil filters to get access to.

Hi mate, welcome to the club,i'm from ayrshire too, well killie,i see you picked the best colour to get :D Get pics up soon of your car Ron
  11. I've just done a filter change on my car this week, oil filter, fuel and two air, they cost me just under 50 quid to buy and fitted them my self.Including the oil everything came to 70 quid, spark plugs were fine as they were replaced not that long ago,but if you were having the work done by a garage then there would be further labour charges on top of that at their going rate?? Ron
  12. i think there have been worse things on this forum over the past few months than that fellas user name, personally i would keep it.As letsdrift said its not a kids club... and not many kids own 300zx's,as said before, parental control...its simple.
  13. Thats true Si,i'm not a big fan of lambo doors either.
  14. Personally i wouldn't do it to my car but i found these pictures where there were neons everywhere, not sure if this car had them on the engine bay or not?Nice clean car all the same ;) Hard to believe this car originally had door and quarter panel damage?
  15. I have 2 garages that look after mine, one of them done the timing belt 60K service and done an excellent job, took it to them coz they specialise in tuning sports cars and the fact they had done ZX's before and they were twin turbo. Its Seditas in Ayr,very good, the other garage i took mine to was a local garage to get the clutch done, again another good job and reasonably priced but it was local to my workplace. To be fair i supply all my own parts which i get from traders on the forum that way i know whats going in and on the car with no corners cut.
  16. Hi guys,My car is due an engine service soon and i was wondering if anyone knows the best place to get standard Nissan service parts ie air filters, oil filter, fuel filter etc?Is Nissan dealers the best bet or do any traders on the forum sell them? Cheers Ron

it hasn't happened yet but i have a pair of "ebay" Z seat covers so should be ok that way, bothers me more when you just wash it or polish it and it seems to be a target for them, they hit it every time but never in the the interior.
  18. yep mines is the original greyish with chipped paint but def thinking of gloss black too due to the shine on my car.

Welcome to the club,i had an Mr2 mk1(white) before buying my first Z in August which strangely enough i bought privately in Kidderminster?I just couldn't keep away from these T bar cars and i always wanted a Z for years. Needless to say whether its an N/A or a TT you buy you will certainly enjoy the car as it is as fun to drive as it is pleasing to the eye :) Mines is a series 3 N/A and it is by far the best car i've ever owned :hyper:
  20. very nice,i definately need the 99 spec spoiler for mine :)
  21. Cheers dave thats what i was thinking, does look closer in. It looks good on your car
  22. Hi there, Just thinking about changing my spoiler for a 99 spec one but i have the standard series 3 spoiler still on(pictured below).Does any body know if the 99 spec fits straight on to the original tailgate mounting points? Many thanks
  23. Yeah thats where i bought them from, gave Luke a phone today to make sure they were in stock and ordered them, what a pain taking all that interior trim off, hopefully thats the hardest part of the job????? Am i kidding.....its a Z :D
  24. Cheers Willeo, thats exactly what is happening to mine and i'm avoiding all bumps etc lol got a new set ordered today so hopefully get them fitted by the weekend.
