Hi there, has anyone had problems with scratches on the drivers window,more at the door pillar side? Is there a cleaning strip inside the door that takes moisture and the likes off and it may have some grit in it causing it to score the glass everytime it goes up and down?It started off as one but they're multiplying and getting more annoying :headvswal Any help would be great as i need to try and fix this before it gets the window in a right mess Thanks Ron

Sorry to hear about this mate,hope all gets sorted ok,not a Zed expert either but was thinking along the same lines as John? My Zed usually goes to a garage in Ayr whom i have found to be very good with the Zed or any of my high performance cars?

Had all the belts done on mine when it got the 60k service and the fan belt needed a slight adjusting after a week,a brand new fan belt tends to settle in and stretch slightly after being replaced. Very easy to adjust as i did mines myself when it needed adjusted...Max 2 mins,couple of extra mins to remove the plastic engine cover from below the car Ron

I put a cd/dvd player head unit on the bottom and a motorised 7" flip out monitor on the top just 2 weeks ago :)

I've just bought one for my Zed but i double checked before buying that it was a multi region,it's a double din unit but i have heard from people of frequency issues but i'm not 100% sure on that?Are you the first owner since it came from Japan as it may be for Japanese frequencies also if the unit controls the changer most of the time then i would also check the connections and wiring are secure at the back of the unit along with the arial plug from the rear screen?Just in the off chance it is multiregion then it may just be a simple case of the arial connector has become unplugged thus receiving no signal from the arial itself? Hi Scott,will try to make most meets this year,bought my first N/A Z in August and couldn't get to any for working but hopefully will make it to some this year,if not all of them. For an idea of venues i used to own a Mk1 Mr2 car and had a lot done to it,took it to Culzean Classic Car Show and had it on a stand,good day out and usually happens on the first Sunday in August if interested,it was mostly Classics when i first went in 93 but more modern sports cars are going now as well and its a good turn out,sound like the biggar event is similar?As for details well i missed last years event for the first time in 11 years but i heard that they might be moving it from Culzean Castle,which is on the West Coast,South of Ayr to Eglinton Country Park in Irvine?I would need to check that though? Was told that there was one red Twin Turbo there,not in a stand and it got loads of attention and got me thinkin it would be good to see more Zeds there?Just an idea? :) Ron

Where abouts in Scotland are you mate,i'm in the Ayrshire area and the experience i had looking for a Z in Scotland was bad,i was after a Series 3 or higher and never came across one for sale,if i saw what i thought was a good one South of the border i would make a day of it on a Sunday going to see it and spending a lot of time with the car. I got mine in Kidderminster and well worth it,if you travel a bit its worth it and far more to choose from at a reasonable price or better yet as a member stated on this thread,buy from an enthusiast who's selling on here. With a car like the 300zxits better to spend a bit more on a well looked after one than one thats cheaper and will cost you way more putting right...all the same hope you find a nice example Z for yourself ;)

Hi Si,what was in your secondary section in the first place? I ask this because i haven't had the chance to see another import indicating on the road yet but when i put my indiators on (only when dipped beam is on) the front section flashes as normal and the second section stays on constantly lighting the side of the road? Are they all like this? Cheers...Ron
