Whats the fastest wrx or a 300 n/a

WRX quite a lot faster than a NA

 

(But the 300zx NA is still a exclusive, well made sports car, compared to a Fast chaved up Family car made of lots of cheap plastic bits)

It depends whether it has cross plies or radials and whether it's "Senior" Whippy at the wheel :D

To be honest i have a WRX and compared to the Zed TT............. well off the line i gotta say the WRX does get a little ahead but after about 60-70 the Zed will ease away NO PROBLEM, but compared to a NA which my mate had, id say the impreza most of the way till it run out of ooomph towards the top end when the NA would probably eventually take it

My friend has a WRX and As you know I got a NA... my Na can almost keep up with him in his modded car.... but he defently out accelerates me.... but top speed.. i win... his just cant cope.. mine goes off the clock easily and in just over a mile from a standing start I win.... a quarter mile.. he wins. go figure..

he reconed he got about 160mph out of it.

New 1 with 6 speed box about 140mph :bow: Not bad for family saloon

At our works there are 2 STI both with prodrive kits fitted and 1 wrx with prodrive kit fitted and they only do 148 mph on the M42 so dont see your mates doing 160 imho

he has nitro.. and full engine redone.. i dont believe him either.. but i know mine was well past the 120... which shows on my dash... the needle was gone... and still pulling...

160 is rubbish, it can no way do that and thats a fact!

 

Well iv driven a very well maintained NA with exhaust and air filter mods and i gotta say the wrx would out accelarate it up to about 100 and then the NA would eventually catch up............could be something wrong with his wrx

 

But at the end of the day the Zed is in another league............the wrx is a suped up saloon

Sorry didint know he had nitrous and the other mods........dont know even then if he could do it but i could be proved wrong............dont think the gearing would allow 160

no way 160mph unless its a P1. 140mph to 145mph

dont know.. as i said.. mine just goes off the clock.. i gotta get followed by one of you guys in a TT... and find out...

all i know is i was able to keep up with the tt lads... before.. when we went to scotland... and we wernt going slow.... no doubt a tt will beat mine.. but i dont know...

pps as i said i didnt believe it either... just FYI.. i cant tell how fast mine is as it only shows the 120 on the clock.... but the needle was off it...

and mine is chipped ... de restricted. etc.. some mods but not much.. so dont believe it did 160... but again.. still want a tt to follow and let me know.

most NA's top out at 140ish, the clocks could well be showing close to 160 by then as most speedos are "generous" to some degree.

as i said.. i can only see 120 on my clock...

i and it has the extra bits which means 130... but it still pulls hard when it bottoms out on the speedo...

i dont care personally... cause is a instant ban... but out of interest.. anyone with a na... follow... and tell me the honest speed...

get yourself a road angel or similar gps unit then you will know the exact speed, my na is showing 80 when actually doing 74 on the GPS at 140 it was showing well over 150. all other cars and bikes I have tried it in have been the same.
