  1. This is the page your after mate. http://www.z1motorsports.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=cometic .051" (6 thousanths thicker). Order that one.
  2. have just done a deal with him tonight mate. Thanks for all your help bud. i will owe ya a drink
  3. the rest of the kit is spot on, its just the head gasket thats rubbish. But when you consider the price of getting one from one of the recommended places that people on here just stick to going to, then buying that kit and also buying a cometic head gasket(which is a upgrade to the head gaskets you will get from the usual OEM nissan crap) is still cheaper than you can buy a standard kit for and is a lot more reliable.
  4. The pics on the link you put up dont really have any explanation saying much about them. I would stick to getting a cometic head gasket, at least then there shouldnt be any chance of it going again.
  5. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300ZX-TURBO-VG30DETT-24V-90-97-HEAD-GASKET-SET_W0QQitemZ310068663134QQihZ021QQcategoryZ10402QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem Thats the one you want to get.
  6. Its becouse of the the possibility of having the type of problems that you are experiencing with your engine, that i wouldnt ever take mine to a garage for work doing to it. If something needs doing to it i would stick to doing it yourself and taking parts individually to the correct specialist for the part that you need doing and then rebuild it yourself. Thats the only way to make sure that it gets done right. First time every time.
  7. lol, it was taken at the post office meet last year, there were crowds like that around it for most of the night. Install might be up for sale soon as got some plans for doing another one at end of year so will let you know first.
  8. Thats good if your just after performance from the car. Im happy with the power its got at the moment and even with the install and a almost dead cluth it still made the 1/4mile in 13.45sec at over 100mph so its still ok to me. Im now going more for the looks of the car rather than its performance.
  9. The first two pics are before i put the screen in you can just see the screen in the picture. Ave got a 32"widescreen plasma for it now tho, if i can get it to work in the car.
  10. haha 17" screen is that all. I got a 32"plasma im adjusting for the new boot install in the zed.

  12. so how much are there worth???
  13. now that i can get these done if i get enough orders for them in the blue i will get some done.
  14. That might be why then, cos they are roller bearing turbos.
  15. ahh i see, lol. thankyou. Mine must be working well then because my engine has a good torque to bhp ratio. Had 347.7hp and 362flbat the wheels when i last had it on the dyno.
  16. haha, just so you cant take it for your car,lol
  17. Oh ok cheers mike, i was just going on what i was told by andy nichols and grant parker from aet turbo's. If i was to get them how much would there be worth bearing in mind they will be in brand new condition from such a reputable place as aet turbos ?
  18. Have got a chance of getting these turbos off of black slag(club member on here) Pictures show the diffrence between the standard tubs on the bottom of the pics. Have been told there are good for 350hp each. There are currently at aet turbos being refurbed at a cost of £550+vat each. Can anyone tell me what the equivilant in hks or greddy terms these turbos would be.
  19. Had a few parts powdercoated and have ploished some other bits up while im rebuilding the engine. A little different from just the usual polished everything under the bonnet that everyone keeps doin. Wat do you think??? before polishing after ploishing Am pleased with how it should hopefully look when i get it all put back together. Still have a few more parts to come back yet so will be a bit better as it goes on.
  20. How does the valve timing solanoid system work? does it give more power or is it for emissions or sumthing else?? Is time for me to learn some more on the workings of the engine. So if anybody can help explain to me then i would appreiciate it. Thankyou
  21. How can you tell if a tappet is any good or not??. I have some that are noisy and after taking them out, some move in and out and some are solid. which are they suppose to be please
  22. Can get them for around £55 for a full top end gasket set and then around another £90 for a cometic head gasket(cos the one in the other set isnt that good) Then be another £100 for both heads pressure testing and skimming.
  23. Thanks mate. much apprieciated
  24. shhhh u said you wouldnt tell, lol But i am picking up my new bling parts tomorrow, cant wait.
