  3. Technically its not just royal mail. Its any official vehicle with the queens emblem on it ,as its classed as on her majestys service.
  4. He looks like the bad guy from who framed roger rabbit, lol.
  5. Credit wheres credits due, thats a lot of good work gone into that car. Not my cuppa, but its certainly not 'crap or shite'. Looks good on that car, not sure it would suit many other cars tho.
  6. How do you manage to get that mpg out of it when parkers guide gives nowhere near them figures????? the most a 110bhp passat has on there is 53mpg when new.
  7. Lol. Ive had all sorts of cars, closest to the alfa was probably my audi a6 2.5tdi, and i gotta say even that wasnt a patch on the alfa. Didnt handle no where near as good and wasnt even close to as good on economy.
  8. Try one bud, you wont be dissapointed. Seems most people are stuck on bmw's, but imo there not a patch on the quality n looks of a nice alfa. Mine is the 156jtd, comes with 140bhp and 300nm torque so got plenty of power. Cruises down motorway at a steady 80mph at only 2500rpm :-).
  9. Ive just got a 2.4jtd alfa romeo, i do 60mile a day for work n it costs me only £40wk. Smart cars and luxury too. Pick a good one up on a 51plate for less than your budget.
  10. how nice would that centre consule look in a 300zx, mmmmmm.
  11. Its always repairable mate, just depends on how much your willing to spend. You should of seen how bad both sides of mine was. cut out all the rust and then see how it looks. Me and my mate totally rebuilt both sides of mine and even some of the floor. Everyone said to scrap it but there was no way i was gonna be defeated.
  12. Have been doing some searching for a car on autotrader, and put in search to show results nearest first. put my postcode in dn2. Put to show results upto 40miles and found a nice car ,says its 28miles away.........do a search for garage and its 218miles away in gillinham in kent!!!!. since when was doncaster 40miles from kent, lol. You'ld think with technology nowadays there could get something as simple as that right. So looks like the search continues.
  13. Give him a break ppl, hes single and needs the material for "alone time",lol Sorry mikey, but ooo so very gay of you, haha.
  14. Pm this way please, definatly would like one of those. Best watch ever.
  15. I would like to see the day where people rebel against the high costs. Were not allowed to protest on streets about fuel, but they couldnt do owt about people simply refusing to use a vehicle for 2days a week at the same time. If nothing in the country moved at all for 2days every week they would have no choice but to lower the price as the loss to the taxman would be out of pocket beyond what they could take. unfortunatly this would never happen tho.
  16. I agree with you there. Howether there still need to make sure that they dont tax out the working public who are on the breadline. Take a little too much and it soon will put people into a position of been unable to afford to work. Its just a shame that this gov is getting all the slack for what previous gov has done. To bring this back on topic tho, our fuel prices are way too much to the proportion of how much it can be sold for and still make a healthy vat and duty income.
  17. Filled up me 4x4 last week, already had 1/4tank diesel in and still cost me £90. I do 300miles a week just to get to and from work. At this rate it really wont be worth going to work, will have more available money if i wa on dole!!!!!!!!
  18. why not make a small base that fits snug into the seat bottom. Have seen one done before. A plastic liner(black bag) is placed into cup of seat and then fill with expanding foam to fill it level. When set remove from seat and trim the top flat. After that it can be fibreglassed around your mould and sanded smooth, then glue some foam on top for cushening and then wrap it with some material to make it look tidy. Once in place a child seat will fit on the seat just as it would a standard seat and can be safely strapped in with the seatbelt. hope this helps.
  19. Whichever you decide ,with ur skills your car is going to look amazing. But i would say deffo get rid of the swage line. If you want a practice one to see if you will like i'll let ya try it out on mine, lol.
  20. Looks really cute even give ya a cheeky tongue, lol. But with pic 3(you looking at me punk) must be a mini clint 'eastwood',lol.
  21. CRIKEY!!!. You can almost buy a real zx for not much more than that.
  22. After all that it will be amazing if you even remember xmas when ya wake up in february, lol.
  23. Would be great value if our cars run on water, but seeing as how they dont then its not really any good as a comparison, lol.
  24. Its goverment and ppl that think a day without fuel that gets people panic buying.
