  1. Just take the two bolt from each hinge on door. Make sure youve pulled wires through first, lol.
  2. Think it was around £250 ish. Well worth it tho. Took my car from 328bhp to 347bhp.
  3. I changed mine for the autobahn88 on ebay. Never had any problems with it and it did give me a better response on the standard tubs.
  4. ahhh, it would repair. not as bad as mine was on the sills, and it was on both sides. ashame for ya tho as it was a very nice looking motor.
  5. my word of the day is eagerness, lol but patience is a good one too.
  6. well i managed to get the rear a lot better than it was with the help of a few good friends(who have a lot more patience than i have, lol) i am now much happier with the lines and the blending. just another 3 parts to go ...........
  7. gotta be a pass with all the money you've ploughed into the car,lol
  8. Ive got the same intercooler, as a replacement to the standard ic's, its a good buy and improved performance greatly. But if you've got aftermarket smic's already thats working well there is no point in changing them as you will most likely only the same performance as youve got now.
  9. Lmao, but not till hes had his uses, lol
  10. while ever ur breathing, your not getting out of it,lol. Ur only excused when you stop breathing, lol.
  11. Well another weekend is here again and the weathers looking great, so hoping to get a load more done(probably wont, lol). but the bbq is goin on and a few mates coming over to help :-). Fingers crossed it will be looking like a car again at end of weekend.
  12. Lol. Was following a blue jaguar on wed. Number plate was P3RV A.
  13. Any pics?. Could do with finding a fabricator local and see if i can get a good price. Suppose theres no harm in me giving it a try first tho. If they look rubbish can always remove them.
  14. just my luck that you are 160miles away, lol. but in your opinion, do you think it would be a possibility to try and use some old front wings cut up and adapted to be used to allow a inch or so of the rear arch to be removoved and raised, and give a inch of width extra clearence?.
  15. Sure would be,lol. But i do like my wheels and they were a proper bargain. who ia the metal worker on here??.
  16. There already rolled,lol.
  17. Have been looking at the rear arches, and remembering how they sometimes used to foul the wheels over bumpy ground. i dont want to go down the wide arch kit route as lets face it its been done plenty already. So was wondering what drift style arches there are available that could be used to give more clearance. My favourite idea at the moment is to see if i could make some out of a set of cut up front wings, that way the shape would suit the lines of the car perfect with the front. Anybody ever done this or seen one done??? And could it be done???
  18. Nice one, will be keeping a look out for it.
  19. Knowing manta it will be a huge workshop with a verander style living area upstairs overlooking the cars, lol
  20. Congrats bud. But im wondering, how did u find this out on a sunday, lol
  21. Has anyone on here ever done a comprehensive list of all the pipework that is in the engine bay??? Like sizes and lengths that would be required if you were to change every hose. Water, oils, air, brake and clutch, power steering etc. Or maybe people that have done some and could add it on here to help create a list through posts. cheers Dave
  22. Thanks. Its taking some time but its all worth it. The wheels are in need of refurbing but still look great on car. Look even better when its sat on floor. They are off a supra ,so hopefully are the only ones of there type on a zx :-)
  23. progress update Took some pics to give a idea of how the profile of the blending is looking upto now got the rear of the skirt looking spot on :biggrin: so thanks mike, but dont be thinking your work is over just yet
