  3. I'd address the issue at heart and make sure the host has patched the hole, if its a root level compromise then they should reinstall the server.
  4. its a revision2, Nothing comes up on diag, I thought replacing thermostat and AFM would correct the problem, it nows runs fine and heats up ok but it will randomly stall unless idle is turned up! AFM looks looks like an extremly crude way of measuring airflow....
  5. Im after an electric one, due to one of many genetic misfortunes im left handed, so am debating picking up a right handed and learnig that way or learning hendrix style or just buying a left handed guitar lol so many option ;)
  6. ta paul, would the vacuum leaks cause boost to not fully be reached? it has an aftermarket boost gauge and is boosting to .7psi when warm and 0.5 when it goes into mr2 "safety" boost.
  7. I thought I'd try and bonk some knowledgable heads together, Have a problem with an MR2 turbo, stock apart from exhaust and blitz induction kit. If idle is set to standard of 750 RPM the car appears to run fine but every now and then it will stall whilst idling, usually when light on the accellerator or just coming off, If the idle is adjusted to 1200rpm the car will not stall but every now and then the revs will drop to around 400rpm. Obviously the high idle is stopping the car from stalling. What could be causing this? I've replaced the AFM (air flow meter) as this is what garage reported the problem as being, however the problem persists. Apart from that one problem the car runs fine, when its running it is quick and boosts correctly. any idea guys, or is it looking like something serious?
  8. http://www.imoc.co.uk is the mr2 forum, all mr2 turbos are imports, they also have a habit of going into safety boost when its cold, I don't think the rev3 does this, don't get a rev1 unless you have a death wish, the stock suspension and diff setup is terrible. its cheaper to get insured ona UK spec zed than an mr2 turbo. brilliant little cars though,
  9. I got a mild case of food poisoning, the oppotunity to upgrade the kernel on 70 servers xmas morning and the chance to restore this server boxing day :)

  12. The short version is that there was a harddrive failure, we lost journals on majority of the partitions of the main hdd, We've rebuilt the server and restored from backup and there should be no loss of data. We've also moved over to a faster OS, things should improve. Have fun and sorry for the downtime. MErry xmas
