  9. yes, just the one buld, jay: silver bulbs emit an orange light on the back of standard reflectors is a small clear diffusser, I'm tempted to glue that in place, it shouldn't detract from the appearence but may diffuse the light more evenly across the rear, they look great in the night
  10. yes, silver bulbs, what ones are you using? they are very dim in the daylight im waiting for a quote on the price of a replaement lense, I won't be happy if i have to buy the whole kit again
  11. Fitted this today http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=31181 My fingers are numb and im covered in tar, I cracked one of the lenses, The left bulb has been done, the right wasn't Unfortuently I cracked the right lense when installing it, so I am waiting on a reply from zxdriver for a replacement part. They look really good fitted, pain to fit the first time, if you are in the southeast area I am happy to give you a hand if you need it, I can do each light in about 5 minutes once out of the oven. has anyone else who have done this had problems with the bulbs not seeming very bright in daylight? that is my only real problem with them at the moment, if i can correct that i will be a happy chappy,

Like said its easier to cut the two brackets, I personally spent an hour undoing the bolts on either side. They are right little buggers. reseting the ECU is a must really, you have a different ammount of air flowing and it may cause the engine to limit you to 4500rpm if the ECU gets confused.
  18. not my engine there, just a picture i found, I have a white 300zx, ill be wearing a sheepskin coat and a hat most of the time :D are you coming to the essex meeT? people will look at your car there! look in the events section for the essex meet
  19. basically by venting off air from certain parts of the vacuum system or by restricting airflow in over parts of the vacuum system you can up your boost, its a cheaper way of upping the boost on the car. Although Se's system is more expensive than some boost controllers i believe see this FAQ for more details http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=29063
  20. I've been stopped once my police at 4am in the morning when i was 14 ( I was going fishing) Someone had burnt down a barn nearby, the police let us go no problem, what they failed to spot was the pocket full of firelighters and matches i had. No I had not burned down the barn, but I wasn't even searched, identity cards will probably serve to let people get off with things easier, especially the criminals who copy the cards. "show us the card mate" "o you must be legal, on your way"
  21. the you understand that deisgn is about making products that also appeal to people? i doubt we would all be driving around in robin reliants if they had the same speed and handling as the 300zx. (well andyp would) But then again you name is nigel, do you have a flat cap and smoke a pipe also? ;)
  22. if you come to the essex meet at least one personw ill have one
