Thanks alot for changing my tension rods for me!!! and the loan of a drive and tools and tea!!!! :duffer::bow: Car's handling has now changed DRAMATICALY, the old bushes where knackered. The new poly bushes are nice and tight :dance::dance:

Just incase anyone looks this post up in a search. The problem WAS the brake master cylinder. Ordered a second hand one from Z World and the problem is solved. Thanks to all who helped

Just got my brake broblems sorted. Replaced the master cylinder and all is well. Just want to say thanks to Steve Burns for loaning me his drive, tools, tea, equipment, left foot and showing me the biggest collection of Z car memorabilia in the world :bow: Thanks steve!!!

I have recieved my 2nd hand BMC and it has two brake pipes. Is that correct?????? Had thought it was 3 in my head and can't look on the car till tonight.

Sounds like the connector to the tps from what you've said, lol Sounds like you need to get a new one or pull it appart, clean it and re-make the connections so they are tight

Not sure what you mean really although you'l be getting engine braking in reverse that you don't get in drive ? could make it feel different to driving forward. Or does the car reverse at a certain speed and then go slower at the same engine speed?

If the waste gates are stuck open would that make the boost levels that low?? Or would there be no boost at all ?
