  1. Sure it wasn't a white one ? :D
  2. wow, thats good!! Very reliable!! I like the look of the Skyline G35 too, and they seem reasonably priced!
  3. Cool, Any other areas to look at anyone?? Is it a complex pipe system? Are they prone to just fail in the caliper area where the joints are etc?? Where abouts did you get the repair kit ??
  4. I thought the 350 did have tiptronic?? Or is it more of an auto box with a shift at will ??
  5. yes i think a compass would be all you need, lol
  6. That would be ideal, but again. It's sat on a hill on the road all the time and tinkering isn't much of an option here. I love working on cars b ut am struggling for time as well as space. Plus with a 2nd car i'd have to pay parking permet, tax, insurance, mot, and buy the thing too. I'm very unsure as i'm not keen on other cars. I just wish i was in a better position to work on / afford the Z
  7. I love my Z but i can't see the longevity of owning it, never have really, its always been something i wanted and i have never made a sensible financial decision when it comes to that car. I spend all my money on after market parts and general up-keep. The £15k would cost me about the same per month as the z on finance and there would hopefully be no surprises.
  8. Sorry, forgot to say HAS to be a semi-auto / tiptronic gearbox as i can't use a clutch due to disability and hate auto's (although forced to use it in the z ;))
  9. Thanks Guys, will have a good inspection. Only started it Sunday. James, im around now btw so can fit those tension rods at yours whenever :)
  10. I love my Z, but i'm struggling to afford its up-keep. I've been thinking about selling it and Buying a 350z, i want the Z look and experience but without the expensive and constant repairs that pop up. I find my Z reliable but Living in London without a drive i find it difficult to work on it. Was looking at a 350Z for around 15,000. Are there any similar choices of performance / looks for that money ??
  11. Im losing brake fluid in bucket loads, did 7 miles this morning and got through most of the reservoir !! Are there any 'comon' places the lines fail etc???? Before i have to trace the brake lines. Can't see any fluid around the reservoir etc
  12. I think it would be great, as long as people had there own tools and were capable of working on a car under instruction? as i suspect that there would be to few 'experts' for the amount of work needed to be done ???
  13. lol, thanks BeeGee, I cleaned the valve with carb cleaner and eh voila...It worked!!!
  14. A guy from germany has bought my tyres so i've got to send them. Will wrap them in that pallet clingfilm stuff individualy ?? then send them. Just about to weigh them now. Anyone sent stuff to europe??
  15. think she muist have been really desperate and walked around trying to hold it in. SHe would never do it normally
  16. well there off now, just drying out the floor. There are 13 pieces and all rather wet, arghhhhhhhh
  17. Poxy dog has spread it to about 7 small piles, gonna wring its bloody neck. Its outside looking at me through the door in the pooring rain......that'l teach it !!!!!!!
  18. Thanks very much guys, just getting the solids off now :(
  19. Looking after my dads house and the poxy dog has got into a room where theres a new oak flkoor laid. Its not been sealed yet cause it needs plugging and staining first. What the frig do i get it off with ?? Can i even use water ?? ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  20. Thats great, thanks guys. Have cut that temp connector off and replaced with red space connectors anyway :) BeeGee, you got a pic of the pipe or location of the valves at all ??
  21. I've seen some instructions somewhere to clean certain pipes to solve the engine reves sometimes sitting at 1500rpm instead of 750. I don't need to adjust the base idle as its correct. Anyone got any info or a link???
