  1. You don't have to do it all now. White being a non-colour, so to speak, could be ruined by fitting different coloured pipework. Nothing else on the car has any colours. Keeping colours to a minimum is much easier on the eye.
  2. Agreed, the spoiler looks ace.
  3. PTU or MAF.....probably. PS, time to subscribe.
  4. Black and chrome mate. Minimise the colours, makes it soooooooooo much more pleasing to the eye. Seen many an engine bay ruined by multidues of colour clashes etc. The above won't, but won't look half as nice as black samco hoses, polished hard pipes, chromed and polished engine bits.
  5. Thanks Danny. Since I don't know when it was changed last, I think it's best practice to replace. Always done my other cars at about 20 - 30k intervals.
  6. Doesn't it go all the way into to Gloucester? Guess it's the wrong side of Gloucester, goes as far as the Royal Mail depot or something?
  7. Time to get a TVR style stalk....
  8. Does anyone do theirs on a regular occurrence? One thing I've neglected to do unfortunately is replace mine which will be done shortly. How often do you lot do yours?
  9. I'd never go back to having a normal PC now. I never used to like laptops, but the one I've bought is way over power than what I really need.
  10. If it's really tidy then £4.5k is reasonable. I'd have expected lower mileage than that though. There is/was a low mileage UK TT going for something like that with less mileage on. Unless low mileage or very well looked after examples, I would steer clear of UK models. I have seen some lovely examples, but most tend to have rot on them. Whereas J-specs just tend to be a little tatty looking rather than having cases of gout.
  11. What's ultimate SP1? Just a different release?
  12. Manual is better fun + more involving and the boxes don't seem to expire like Autos do.
  13. Compaq Presario V6000. My other second hand Fujitsu gave up, so thought I'd invest in something a bit more reasonable. For £650 I got quite a good spec'ed one. Dual Core centrino, 160gig hard disk, 2gig ram, 2MB cache, vista and a few other bits and bobs. Very very quick it is. Quite amazing what laptops can do these days! LOL My first ever laptop was about 4 inches thick with a rubbish little screen and running windows 95. This one's wide screen too and the graphics are simply superb! Anyway, this one's got Windows Vista on it, thought I'd have a ball ache trying to get used to it. But I really like it. Not really used to any real capacity, but it seems as easy to use as XP. Who else is running vista? Anyone note any issues with it trying to get old software to run with it?
  14. Nope, it's just off the Golden Valley Bypass in Gloucester.
  15. No, just a tired one! LOL
  16. Few years back, a mate's mother got a load of old ferrero rocher wrappers, and put chocolate covered sprouts in them and dished those out! LOL
  17. Halloween sucks! Absolute load of pointless *****x!! ****ing waste of time. Lights off here and I refuse to answer my front door, kids everywhere. Wish they'd all **** off home. Had a tiring week down in Portsmouth this week and can't be arsed with kids coming round here ****ing wanting stuff. **** OFF!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want a quiet peaceful night!!!!!!!
  18. What year is it? Sounds like it could be the PTU of MAF. It won't start now because it's hot, give it a go later when it's cold, should start. Anyway, probably either of the two mentioned issues. Not really that expensive in the overall scheme of things. If it is your PTU, you might be wise to upgrade it to a series 2 PTU which fix the design fault of the Series 1 versions.
  19. Convertibles just don't look right with all that kit on rear spoiler just looks laughable. I quite like the S2k, but wouldn't have one.
  20. ....and I care how much? I can get a flight for £350. 4 star hotel in Khor Fakkan is a whopping £35 per night! LOL It's only a 6 or 7 hr flight. Can't imagine that I'll have to put up with Slade or Wizard or anything over there! LOL
  21. Agreed, I couldn't live without the t-tops. Absolutely one of the nicest features on the car. It's the reason I didn't go for an R32.
  22. Not really. I don't want my car looking like this....
  23. Leather steering wheels can go scabby quite easily. Although the interior looks filthy, the actual seats don't look worn. The driver's seat is certainly not split open. I've seen some 'so called 50k milers' with seats that have worn straight through the bolster on the driver's side. Although the photo isn't that clear, the seat still looks in once piece. The car looks relatively clean and unmolested. Year of manufacture can be proven on most of the cars components. There are codes on them which point to a manufacture year. When I bought my Z, Gio and Richard Smith came along with me and pulled the car apart and confirmed the date of manufacture claimed was the true date of manufacture. All Z32s were built to order weren't they? Meaning Nissan didn't just churn them out like Fiestas to sit gathering dust in a showroom.
  24. I prefer the shape of the 2+2. Looks more in proportion, although I love the SWB.
