  1. You can see the sills quite well in this shot...all lovely and smooth. :)
  2. ...you can see here on the front bumper too... Before... After...
  3. ...you can see here. Bottoms of the bumpers totally smooth and fresh looking... How it used to look.
  4. You know on the bottoms of the bumpers there's a dimpled finish and there's unsmoothed stonechip on the lower halfs of the sills. Well I've had all that removed so it gives it a clean slick look.
  5. That's pearl white with a blue flip in it rather than glow in the dark. I too like that.
  6. I too understand what you mean about the 99-spec front end. Whilst it updates the look of the car, I prefer the slightly more aggressive look of the earlier one. You could do what I did and have all the rock guard shaved off. Gives it a lovely fresh look. As for the rear spoiler debate, the early TT models came with the spoiler. Only on the USDM market was a spoiler optional on the N/A and since all 2+2s were N/A over there, most come sans-spoiler. I've had both the smooth tailgate and the spoiler. I did like the smooth but the car always looked like it was missing something. A halfway house is the tailgate lip which is quite nice. But not very purist if you're wanting to keep it that way. I am also one of those strange people that actually like the original spoiler and considered fitting a fibreglass replacement before I decided on the 99-spec.
  7. Works now...cracking tan lines!
  8. Page doesn't exist.
  9. How blotchy is it though? Looks an absolute mess if you ask me. The bodykit looks like it's been hewn from a sheet of MDF! Interesting though. If painted well, I am sure it looks amazing.
  10. Need to make a decision on this quite soon. Looking at getting Gaz adjustable shocks and springs. -30mm I think. Just wondering who's got this setup or anyone that's experienced it. Had wanted to go for either Eibach or H&R which are progressive rate wound giving a more supple ride over coarse ground. Wondering what the Gaz setup is like and how harsh it is over stock. Want a tighter ride of course, but don't want the car crashing and banging all over the place.
  11. Don't think it was Yewcheck. I was going west bound and saw a yellow Z on the opposite carriageway. I guess it must have been about 8.45am this morning.
  12. Unsure. Need to see the first one in one colour. I think the stillen type III extension would look amazing on yours.
  13. Or ask the guys at TWOMAS (Tunbridge Wells Opel Monza Appreciation Society). Good bunch of chaps, they may have one for sale.
  14. Have a look on Autobahnstormers for good/restored examples. I love Monzas, nearly bought one a few years ago to stick a supercharged Carlton GSi 24v engine in. http://www.autobahnstormers.co.uk
  15. I'm going to the pub!
  16. Might be because you've not driven it for nearly 2 years? I bet you'll feel differently once you get behind the wheel. I am the same when I've not driven my Z for a few weeks. Get behind the wheel of it and the mood changes totally. Not saying don't sell it, but drive it for a few weeks after you get it back before you make a firm decision.
  17. Haven't you just had it all fixed up? Cars sell best at the beginning of the Summer.
  18. I guess you means large lumps of onion and/or stringy onion. Yeah, I agree. Onion has to be finely diced when I'm cooking.
  19. The whole texture of it would make me urge. It's one of the main reasons I hate mushrooms.
  20. :hurl: I'd rather eat my feet. Mind you, the french will sell and eat absolutely anything that's edible!
  21. I'm not really understanding what's going on with the rear light configuration though?
  22. I am pretty sure he's the only person with a red UK spec Z with one of those stick on filler cap thingys. EASY give away! LOL
