my uncle is after an opel monza, it must be mint or very god, he has around 3k to spend on the right motor, the closer the better

 

the reason i say closer is, he went all the way to southhampton today to look at a supposedly mint motor, the guy bigged it up and the pics lokked to good to be true, when he got there he knew before getting ouit of the car that it was a slag, it had dents all over it, he had painted panels himsel, it wasnt running right, it had the wrong interior in it, and the speedo didnt work

 

he was well pissed as he is prepared to pay for the right car and this giy wanted 3k for his and it was a pig

 

so if anyone knows of one, he has the cash waiting

i used to have one they are awesome motors and now are like hens teeth i think there must be an owners club he should be able to find one there

Have a look on Autobahnstormers for good/restored examples. I love Monzas, nearly bought one a few years ago to stick a supercharged Carlton GSi 24v engine in.

Or ask the guys at TWOMAS (Tunbridge Wells Opel Monza Appreciation Society). Good bunch of chaps, they may have one for sale.

£3k sounds like a healthy budget for one - should get a cracker for that, unless i'm missing something :confused: . lol.

Funnily enough.. I saw a blue one yesterday, that looks in amazing condition, and apparently it is maintained regardless of cost.. Spookily enough, it's in Southampton, and possibly for sale.. I wonder if it's the same one?
