  1. IMHO, you can't get better than 99-spec rear lights. The back of the Z just doesn't look like a Z without one. The whole reason I bought the Z was because of the way it looked, not because I wanted to make it look like something else.
  2. Thank fook it's NOT snowing down here. Doesn't look like it will either! Getting warmer tomorrow.
  3. True, but find a good UK car though. There have been a few on here of late, but you're struggling now to find decent original type examples. When I originally started hunting for a Z, I was looking at UK cars and was completely put off. Every one I saw had rust of some sort or another on it and with the state the interiors were in and condition of the bodywork, I walked away and ended up buying a JDM. Saw some very shabby JDMs though too.
  4. Z32s being imported now have almost dried up because there's no money in it anymore. I think Z32s are becoming a rarity in Japan now as well. Many have been scrapped. I think in the two years I was managing ships, I saw only 2 Z32s come in. More come in via Southampton, but even when I was down there, there were rarely any about. All tended to be Supras and Skylines. The rest was miserable crap like Nissan Figaros and horrid looking MPVs. On a flip side though, UK spec ones are sometimes worth less than JDM models due to rot.
  5. They will, but I don't think that will happen for quite a while now. Z31s are still worth peanuts, sure, they aren't the car the Z32 is, but gives you an idea of trend. IMHO, once the model has drifted away from turning into sheds and miserable looking 'Max'd up' looking kitted examples, then prices might stabilise.
  6. It is a shame to see them falling so quickly. But such is life. The prices remained constant for a while, but in the last 2 years have taken a bit of a dive. I shan't bother selling mine I don't think. Just isn't worth it really. When eventually, I do get the NSX, I'll either put the Z into storage or send it on its way to the Haynes Motor Museum who have an interest in putting it on show (although still owned by myself). I still enjoy the car and I'm enjoying doing bits and pieces to it to improve it in anyway I can. So it'll still be about until the government tax it off the road.
  7. 'Trader of the year 05' needs chaining to a wall and flogging.
  8. Depends if you buy new or not.
  9. And Golfs Been around for years and years.
  10. The basis of the engine was taken from a Mondeo, but that's as far as it goes. Bit like saying we have Nissan Maxima engines in our Zs. The Duratec V6 is very heavily modified for the M12. The M10 on the other hand had an N/A version which iirc, is pretty much a stock engine. They've used highly modified Duratec V6 engines in their M400, M14 and M15 also, so I doubt they'd carry on doing so if they were that prone to failure. I expect you were looking at early M12s.
  11. Unsure as to whether this is a repost or not... http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=11036351
  12. Hi mate, sure is. How's things?
  13. House party at one of my mates' places. Should be a giggle.
  14. That's a shame. Seems that Traders are becoming few and far between.
  15. How about Impo-tance. ;) Just joking Lee. :D
  16. One I've always found amusing is 'Broadwoodwidger' in Devon, which always makes me think of a long and hairy poo.
  17. A mess. I'm glad I was in Pakistan 3 years ago. I don't think I'd like to be there now. Things are very tense over there now. I agree with Lee. Musharaf has been good with Pakistan as far as international relations has gone. Unsure as to just how opinion polls within would fare though.
  18. Unlucky, sorry to hear that. :(
  19. Needs to have all its billy-bolt-on crap removed. Shame it has all that stuck to it. Enough Z32s are wrecked by this.
  20. This one is nicer IMHO. My next motor will be an NSX. :)

If I was in the market for a Z32, then I'd deffo be up for one. But I'd not replace mine for one and I doubt I'll get another Z32. It's NSX time next providing the treasury don't tax us out of Sports cars by then. Still a lot of car for the money at that price.
  22. 2nd. Lee, when are you getting your cataracts done? February wasn't it? ;) 2nd one, isn't the worst, it's not even the best of a bad bunch though. I'd say the 'tourer' was the least unattractive one. They are all 'universal fit' by the looks of things.
  23. As above. Far worse I've seen. Least it's not got a Veilside kit on it!!...or caravan/fiat rear lights. Think it's pretty inoffensive actually.
