  1. Thongs are trashy. French knickers all the way!
  2. I prefer the look of the F355. :)
  3. Which is how much more? I prefer earlier Ferraris. F355 is and always will be the prettiest. One of my mates had a 348 when he was 21 and the thing was incredible. That high revving V8 sounded fantastic.
  4. Not skint, just can't be arsed to go out tonight. Was asked, but quite happy eating ice cream. 'Going out' is over hyped. Like it once a month, but can't be bothered otherwise. Up to see the other half tomorrow, need to get up early to get some stuff sorted out and pick up my Mondeo.
  5. I like the Z because of the looks. I loved the shape of it, even before I knew anything abouts its credentials and have always wanted one. Always loved the shame which is why mine stays fairly stock looking. Just a few updates here and there and that's all it needs. Sure, Evos and Imprezas handle well and go quickly, but they just don't look special. Infact I've never really been into the looks of them, early Evos especially with their hateful bodykits etc. The Z has power and looks and luckily, the thing costs little to buy now.
  6. Why thank you. :) I think I am going to keep it even when I get something else....NSX/348 etc I'll still keep it. Just isn't worth me bothering selling it for the little I'd probably get for it. I'd like to hope it would get £6k+, but I doubt that it ever would and with the prices they have hit now, it just really isn't worth it. So I'll either put it in a museum or a lockup.
  7. I love to bring mine on stong boost. It's why I bought a turbo car. It's why most buy them. I treat mine well though and never rag the nuts off it, just once in a while I like to stretch the car's legs a bit and remind me what a swift machine it is...I usually do that in France where the roads are smoother and have 70% less traffic on them!. :)
  8. You'll change your mind again. LOL I'd have the A4 over the A3. Much nicer looking. New A3s are nice looking, but there's something not quite right about the first gen A3s.
  9. LOL at that. I f*cking hate those stupid lambo doors. Worst doors evAr. Rest looks like a blancmange mould! Represents everything that is wrong with car modifying!
  10. Unveiling the Tata Nano  I am sure everyone's seen this on the news. Engine: 2 cylinder MPFi petrol (single injector) All aluminum 623 cc (38 cu in) Compression ratio - 9.5:1 2 valves per cylinder overhead camshaft Power: 33 hp @ 5500 rpm Torque: 48 Nm @ 2500 rpm Acceleration: 0-43 mph: 14 seconds Maximum speed: 65 mph More here if you really care Who's ordering one?
  11. They are going for about £50 on ebay. So I guess it'll be about that. The market is flooded with second hand Playstation 2s as the Playstation 3 takes over.
  12. LOL Bet you wondered what I was doing in a little KA! My Mondeo was having warranty work done in Clevedon and that's all they had! Nice to see the Z out on the road. :)
  13. Mine's clean up close. IE, clean even paint, no overspray, not dents, scratched, faided plastic, anything like that. Underside is very clean. :) You'd pick up the faults on studio photos. :)
  14. UK specs don't have e/folding mirrors did they?
  15. 20" rims and coilovers? LOL
  16. Think I paid about £150 all in. That was an entire day detailing the paint. Not really a car wash, but reconditioning old tired paint (scratched, swirls, faided etc) or finishing off new paint (orange peel, buffer trails and haze etc). Unfortunately, we couldn't wax mine, polish only as the paint, at the time was only 2 or 3 weeks. Rims cost me about £450 I think. Lot of man hours in those. But I sold my Rays wheels for about £700, so they paid for that and some.
  17. It was an option, but most came with it, pretty sure they were all leather though. Some UK specs also came without electric driver's seat didn't they?
  18. Mine's jspec and it has cruise control. Plastic and materials are the same in the UK as they are Jspec. I find very little difference in materials from what I've seen. Been in a few US spec ones too and they are all similar. Some are better than others etc whether they are UK, JDM or USDM.
  19. One of the moderators 'Brazo' from there did my Z when it came out of the bodyshop with new paint. Want it doing again actually. One of the other traders from there re-conditioned my wheels as well. :) http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=16892&highlight=300zx http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=4038
  20. A good low mileage UK TT manual, series 2 can still fetch £5k if in good tidy unmolested original condition. You might be lucky...it could be an auto...they never hold their money as well. Probably rusty too. You might be lucky though, but for £2k, I doubt it's in particularly amazing condition.
  21. I'd leave it as it is. That other one from Z centre is horrid both cobra and vapor are nasty. I'd just get a smooth nose panel fitted, smooth bonnet (rid if of that vent) and removal of those chrome wiper blades to freshen up the front end up and make it look more slick.
  22. I'll tell you what happened, that chin spoiler most likely got torn off either by being loaded onto a car transporter or when being loaded/unloaded from the ship. Stevedores sometimes have real bad problems discharging vehicles with limited ground clearance as ship's ramps are sometimes too steep. I saw a very low Lexus totally ground out so the centre of the car was almost balancing as part of the chassis was caught on the section where the deck head meets the ramp couplings. It was trapped there for some. So flimsy bits of plastic never withstand much. Shame the rear spoiler wasn't taken with it. The ground effects bodykit does look quite nice though. Shame you've lost the front bit. It was probably damaged beyond repair.
