  1. Did you take the door rubber out of the door and off the pillar or did you do it in-situ?
  2. Put some of the trim back in my car today and sound deadened the rear quarters and transmission tunnel. Also ran an RCA cable down one side of the car, have to run a power cable the other side too for the amp at some point. Never been into ICE installs and I'm still not hugely, but I'd like a nice quality of sound. Sound deadening everything and running new cables should improve it a little. With a new headunit, amp and sub, it should sound ok. For some reason, someone replaced one of the Bose speakers in one of the doors, but ran new cables and an aftermarket speaker in the other side. This shouldn't be too much of a problem, as I can tie new cable to the old stuff and pull it through the rubber cable router in the door. The drivers side is a little more difficult. The Bose speaker is there, or rather removed, I want to run a cable through the door, then through the rubber cable router. Has anyone tried running a cable through one of these? How tightly packed are they? Anyone been successful with it? Any tips would be great. Thanks in advance.
  3. Just get an uprated one and be done with. Comes with all the correct bushings I think. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_8&products_id=128
  4. Related to the guy that couldn't even pay for their calender? Christ on a bike. Gook luck chaps! ;)

  6. Just get a used replacement stock bumper. The cost of repair will outweight the cost of replacement.
  7. Good to do when warm as has been stated stated, but not freshly run/driven. You'll still have particulate and old oil at the top of the engine. Leave to drain overnight from a warm engine is ideal if you can do it that way.
  8. Jimmer is by far the best in the area IMHO. Takes real pride in his work. HIGHLY recommend him as does EVERYONE who's used him. Talented guy.
  9. Could be the bonnet catch. I've had that too. You need to adjust the rubber stoppers...if it's that of course.
  10. Well done. How's the suspension settling now? Noticed any differences?
  11. Whenever I think of Limos, I think of this...
  12. £30 fine and notice of rectification.
  13. Well what did the officer do when he pulled him over? He would have found out there and then. He'll probably just be told to fit replacement legal ones within 14 days of notice.
  14. Just get a series 2 velour interior then. Stock Z leather is not of the greatest quality nowadays as most is looking a bit rough. You'll find the odd ones that have tidy interiors, but those tend to stay in the tidy cars. What I'd suggest you do is buy some series 2 door cards and then retrim your stock seats with a leather seat skin kit from Katzkinz or leatherseats.com. You can get them in just stock black leather if that's the route you're going. It'll all look like new then. :)
  15. This is a series 2 interior...in what appears to be a series 1 (series 2 had airbags I believe). Series 2s also had electric passenger seats. I've just bought myself one for my retrim. :)
  16. Series one had leather or tweed as an option yes, but regardless of seat choice, the panels all still came with tweed. UK spec ones have like a bluey-grey tweed and JDM spec ones have a grey tweed. Some bluie varients came with blue dash, panels and blue tweed. In the US a tan version was available...which looked miserable. Series 2 came with velour seats and alcantara/suede door cards. Leather was an option, but that was just for the seats, door cards and other trim remained the same.
  17. Series one leather interior had tweed panels, series 2 had alcantara/suede type material.
  18. No, it's just amusing stuff, not bodily function funny.
  19. Don't ask me why, but I stumbled across these on youtube. Quite amusing.
