  1. When are you going to subscribe?
  2. Manual gearshift sounds far better IMHO. Hearing a Z pull away and hear it actually going through the gears sounds a lot nicer than the variomatic sound that kind of exudes from the exhaust in auto format.
  3. Courtesy Nissan for slicktop mouldings.
  4. Just let yours weather. It's not a desirable look, but if you want chrome window strips, just take the black off. Gives the car a very very dated look.
  5. Manual 100%. I don't dislike autos, I quite like driving them as they are effortless, but in something like a Z32TT, manual is my only choice. If I had an N/A as a DD or something, then maybe I'd go for an auto.
  6. Have a good one Alan. :duffer:
  7. Suprised Macca hasn't fitted a modified RB26DETT gearbox.
  8. Ditch the dump valves and stop moaning about them! They don't do anything anyway. LOL Early manual boxes are crap and are as poor as autoboxes. A good second gen manual box is far superior. Redesigned syncros, gears and tougher bearings. Gear selection is slick and precise. Have you replaced the gear selector bushes and put some better/replacement gear oil in? Standard clutches are crap, but so are standard autoboxes. Autos are ok and easy to drive, but uninvolving and you have no engine braking with them. Modified Skyline R33GT-R gearbox or second gen Z32 manual box is the way to go.
  9. I've never seen the point of it to be honest, unless you're going for crazy power (which is still achievable with VG), but it is nice. Doesn't sound anywhere near as nice as a VG30DETT though. It's often done in the US as RB engines are very rare and seen as exotic.
  10. He says a lot of things that are far from correct! LOL ;)
  11. Filtering the reg number in the text so that spybots don't pick it up. Not as easy for them to do on blurred photo that's an attachment. ;)
  12. Mark's looks nothing like the ABFlug front. I know it's been moddied, but it's barely any different to a stock EC1.
  13. Well, mine let me take a pic at the weekend, so whilst downloading some Z pics, I thought I'd bung up this one of her. :) She likes Zs, so can't be a bad thing. :)
  14. Looked nice. Was Eastbound near the M32 junction. For sale signs up.
  15. Excellent stuff. I have the exact same setup, except I have Tein springs which are lower than the Eibachs which is what looks like you have. Give the car a few weeks for the suspension to settle and you should notice a difference.
  16. Good man. I like. The rear lights are from a Cavalier. If they are the early ones, you can replace the lights with Cavalier GSi ones with the tinted indicator. :)
  17. The silver one is Z1motorsport owner's, Russell Floyd. It's a 1000bhp monster. Been around for a few years. Was going to go out to their Z1 fest near Atlanta a few years ago. Had planned on going to the Branson Z fest in Missouri, but I'm just too busy this year. Next year I'll make it to another Z meet in the US.
  18. There ya go then. No need to buy ugly; buy nice. :)
  19. Mark's has been modified lightly iirc. The EC-1 ...which would look far better on yours Sarah than the ugly C1 and C2. I wouldn't go for it, but it doesn't look bad if fitted nicely and as far as aftermarket goes, it's good. You need a big IC to fill up the huge gap though. I won't hide the fact that I really dislike the C1 and C2, but they ALWAYS remind me of something like this whenever I see one.
  20. Mark's isn't a C2. It's an EC-1 which is quite nice. The EC-1 kit looks pretty reasonable for Veilside.
