Did strosek ever make coilover suspension for the Z32? Never heard of such a thing.

Who the hell said anything about the heel plates being made out of metal?? The heel plates / pads are just additional carpet on top like you get in standard OEM type car mats. You can order them with or without and select metal if you want. I'd rather have no mats than have mats with metal/chequer plate on them! You should know that by now!

I looked at those, but they don't offer the additional thicker heel plate. I know those are slightly thicker, just wanted the heel pad.

Just ordered a set...should be here for Japfest! I know a few people on here rate them, but just wondering who's got them. Do the contours fit exactly? Is the quality top-notch? I ordered black with grey outters and a heel plate on the driver's side.

convoy for Japfest ?
Hoping to. Madmarco's just sent me a pass in the post, so hopefully, I'll be there.

What to do with old tweed Z seats?
Drivers' seat is ok, it's a little thread bare, but the bolster is still intact. I should have really sold my driver's seat as that was in pretty good shape. You might be better off taking a passenger seat apart and using the base/skin for the driver's side.

They're finally done! It's only taken me 2 years....

No thanks! The living room got leather before the Z, so the tweed goes! lol

Golden? Your dog's ginger Dave! ;) Thanks for all the comments guys. Shan't be doing anything with the boot floor though. Want to keep it all intact.

Happy Birthday Glen
I have no trim in the boot as it's out pending Jimmer and myself rebuilding the suspension, I've got a scratch on the rear bumper, a scratch on one of the wheels and a chip on the rear spoiler. I cringe when I look at the bloody thing! LOL

Sub box building.
Thanks guys. I'll come up with a few designs over the weekend and will get the spec for the subwoofer. It's all written down on the box which is down in the garage. I'll post that up tomorrow and see what you guys think. I am thinking of having a square type box which contours the top the boot line with the sub placed vertically so that it points inward. Kinda like a wedge of cheese. It'll be carpeted black, so will match the rest of the boot trim. I want to mount the amp underneath it as I want it all enclosed and out of the way, obviously making sure the amp has good ventilation. So need to make the enclosure so that it enables storage of the amp.
