Tyre advice
Not really true. PS, 285 is perfect for a 10" ;) Saying that, I want 285 on my 9.5". Flat tyre walls look better than stretched. Although you get far less tyre roll with a stretched tyre.

Who's car is this?
Lovely interior and colour. Stupid doors, cheese grater wings, catfish bumper and tail/headlights on the other hand....2thumbs DOWN! It is saveable though..well, proving they haven't cut off the original door hinges, which I suspect they may have done.

Finally replaced the Zed
Excellent stuff! Certainly a worthy replacement! The 840 was one of the cars I was looking at before choosing the Z. Love them. NSX, well, everyone knows my feelings for those! A man of taste. :duffer:

I'm back...................
Welcome back mate. Having a garage makes you relax more about your car. I'd never leave mine outside. Infact I think it's only been left outside a few times, but that was when I was in France with it! LOL

Tyre advice
At what point didn't I say you needed the correct offset? You can get a more aggressive offset meaning that you need to be wary of tyre size. I can't really get much wider than a 265 on the back of my car. I have 9.5" wide rims which should really have a 275 or 285 tyre on them.

Tyre advice
Yes, but that can still have an effect on how wide you take your tyres!

well! this is it!
Good luck mate! :duffer:

Anyone else?
No problems. Any questions, bung me a PM. I went through all this recently and I know the max offset you can push. What's yours lowered by? On coilovers?

Anyone else?
The ones from Z-centre look like they are for cars with wide arch conversions as they are like 60mm spacers or something. I got mine from POTN. They are made by Eibach are for the 350Z (same PCD). But you can get them from Driftworks too. http://www.potn.co.uk/tsearch.php?search=spacers&category=all http://www.driftworks.com/catalog/categories/wheels-brakes-wheel-spacers.html

Anyone else?
Take the wheel off and see what's stamped on the hub mounting surface. There should be stamped on there, the wheel width and offset.
-
Anyone else?
I'd double check that. With the amount your front wheels are tucked in and that width, I'd suggest they might be nearer to something like ET45?
-
Anyone else?
No, wheel width, not tyre width and what offset?
-
Bloody tax office! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Thanks pal. Much appreciated. :)

Anyone else?
No, you need bolt-on hubscentric spacers. Nice peices of kit and MUCH stronger than the universal ones. I'd imagine you could fit 20 - 25mm on yours. What width are your front wheels?

Just Killed my engine
Why are you bothering with a single turbo conversion?

Bloody tax office! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Don't tell me that I've slated the Tax man and you are one...

Bloody tax office! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Thanks mate. May have sorted it though, I'll let you know how it goes. Cheers Si

....PS, time to get some adjustable camber arms and spacers on those front wheels. :)
