It's done! I used Collonite 476 after I'd machined polished the paintwork on my Z, which still needs more machining IMHO. But I washed it just now and you can really see the depth of the gloss and water repelling qualities of the wax. Very happy with it. Was actually a joy to dry!!! I recommend it, but I've only tried a small number of products and I did go all-hell on it with the machine polisher before hand. I'm sure the shine will last a LOT longer than Meguiars!

I dunno, people still go and spend ages looking at the Skylines/Supras and Evos. It always feels like the Z is on its own at those meets.

Well no, I have a few bits of bodywork to do over the winter and need the car to be mobile. Wanting to get my roof bars painted gloss black etc. Also, I might go to the Taunton meet. I do use my Z in the winter, but that's on a day when it's NOT been raining and I know there's no salt on the ground. So, I never take it out on a frosty/icy day either as there's that horrible corrosive salt film all over the road.

The only thing I don't like about the all-jap-makes type meets is the fact that it feels like they all kinda chirp up when they hear a Z32, but as soon as they realise, there always seems to be a look on their face as if to say 'oh, it's only a 300zx'. lol

I pay £450 fully comp through Broadsure Direct. Full no-claims, clean licence, garaged, but I have unlimited mileage....god knows why as I do no more than a 5k each year in it! LOL. I need to shop around a bit more I think.

I forgot the Kaminari wing! I do really like that. I'd not have it on mine, but white or silver, they look very good.

If you really want good filtration, you'd be better off looking at fitting a hydraulic filter. It would't last that long, but you'd be taking out contimanant from anything as small as a 1 micron. The technology in that K&N filter is no different than any other filter. It's probably made by Coopers (Sogefi) anyway who make most of the OEM filters. They are just using their Air Filtration name to generate sales with this spin-on can. The thing that made the OEM filter paramount was the fact that it had an anti-drain valve (55U). This filter is no longer made, (nissan offer something compatible though, a 55Y which does not have the valve) but I do believe WIX made one with an anti-drain valve, which, is supposed to be a pretty good filter.

This might give you a few ideas if you choose to go the replacement route. Can't get much better looking than this. Stock body, beautiful Work Equip wheels at a very eye-pleasing offset and lowered.

5? LOL. I think if I were to choose again for me, it would be, stock series 1,2 and 3 wings, 99-spec or M30Z.

...Edit, just realised this is an R32 GTR spoiler.

Arrr, I found them. Actually, they were a UK member's...think would look a little more balanced on a 2+2 too.

That's the R34 spoiler. Need to find photos of one with an R33 spoiler on it. I'll ask on 3ZC as it was there that I saw it.

I have seen an R33 Spoiler on a Z and TBH, it actually looks pretty good. As for the nose cone, if you have a JDM car, then the Z badge is just stuck on. There are 2 small holes in it that need filling. If you have a UK car, then the hamburger sign comes out, but you're left with a recess.
