cam problem
Could be VTC springs or seized lifter. I've not heard of many Zs shitting out their cam shafts. Might be worth getting a second opinion.

How do you know that one of your cams is gone?

That lot is all under £10s worth anyway I think!

Heater matrix
Christ, talk about unlucky! Heater matrix is a common failure I'm afraid. Whist some have managed to do a swap with the dash in-situ, others have said it ended up being easier to remove the dash.

How can i check if my car is undersealed?
It is 'undersealed'. Contrary to popular belief, all Z32s came from the factory with the same under-body protection. You can go a step further and pull the car apart to wax-oil all the cavities again.

de-spoilering
SWB can look better without a spoiler, but, IMHO, the LWB needs something at the back with it's longer body and larger bumper overhang. Mine originally came from Japan spoiler-less and never felt it looked right, so added a 99-spec. Spoilers only really work on cornering speeds of over about 70 I think.

500bhp
MK3 Supra might be easier to get to 500bhp with a MK4 engine in it.... As for the 500bhp vs reliability vs cost, I think that a shade under 500 is achievable, reliably without costing the earth. 450bhp, with forget internals, better turbos and injectors and you're still not going to be able to get much that's anything as faster. Plus there's the exclusivity value of the Z. It's something different. I've been in monster Z32s in the US and they are amazing if built correctly. Yes, they cost, but nominate a more realistic power figure and do it correctly and I don't see a problem with reliability and money. ...also, let's face it, the reliability issue tends to be as a result of ex-knobs owning it. Throwing the boost right up and doing nothing else to the rest of the car, spending nothing on maintenance and over-estimating BHP gains. We've all seen it. It's half the reason the arse fell out of the Z32 market. PS, I'd not spend loads of money on a mega build, a little bit of extra boost and some better fueling is fine for me.

I think this is probably the funniest interview I've heard on F1! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=CK3BrGOIwxI

DC retirment
Long time ago. I blame my failing memory you see! LOL
-
DC retirment
Fixed! lol ;) Shame to see what happened to him on his last race. I think he prolonged the agony a little too much to be honest, but it showed that he still had passion. IIRC, DC was brought in to cover for Schumacher originaly when he broke his leg. Long time ago that was.

Beggers can't be choosers mate. I think you just need to get out there and get some experience in the field. You've even answered your own question! The rest will just slot into place. If ALL you guys came out of college with the same diplomas, chances are, you'll all be chasing the same jobs. Start with helpdesk as, once you're there, there will be many other doors opening up.
