  1. 1: AC doesn't really loose any BHP. On full throttle, the ECU disengages the AC, so there is virtually no power loss. It's only the compressor that weighs anything. The heat exchanger and pipework is pretty minimal in weight. 2: Adding boost jets to a car with no turbos is a futile operation! :wack:
  2. Maybe if you're Stevie Wonder they might! hehe ;)
  3. Without stuff like that though, we can't appreciate them for how they were when new. IMO, completely OPPOSITE to a waste! Some posts have vanished...
  4. There's a reason for that. ;)
  5. Not my taste. That's not an Evo spoiler either. Interesting rear valance. Looks like the old MCR/PSG kit.
  6. More to the point, what will you do with the centre panel? Could look good if you painted it jet black.
  7. Would you let a friend of yours rob a bank because it was their time and effort? LOL. Some people need 'direction'. :wack:
  8. Sounds good! Hope it keeps it nice, looks like he's done a cracking job of looking after it already! Damn shame I'm not up near you this week as I'd love to have checked that out!
  9. I know that! What went through his mind is the point I was making. ;)
  10. Despite questionable body mods, it does look tidy. Main seal can fail on even the tidiest of Zs. It's a gearbox off job. Between £250 - £300 I'd imagine.
  11. Your point being??
  12. They'll fit, but they won't match the centre panel. Quality looks poor from close up shots I've seen.
  13. Or get them shot blasted and powder coated. Will give a nicer finish.
  14. If it's had one owner since new, why when Nissan relieved him of £40k does he want to bolt on a load of cheap fibreglass to it!?! Beggars belief!
  15. Oh no. You HAVE to be joking surely!
  16. An £800 Z32 with an Evo spoiler and Ferrari lights....?
  17. Sod that, I'd keep it bone-stock. Although having said that, it doesn't have the original exhaust on it.
  18. Wow! I love looking at stuff like this! LOL @ the state of the arches of the white UK one next to it.
  19. It's always good to search. :) I think this subject has been covered more times than WMD in Iraq. hehe ;)
  20. They only go burgundy (fade) over time. Personally think they look a lot better with the brake light. More modern.
  21. £900? Jesus! No wonder you're having problems! Good luck with it whatever you end up doing? Next time, it's advisable starting off with 1.2mm tips and working your way down from there! Starting off at 0.8mm isn't a great idea. 0.8mm can give you up to 17PSi (plus spiking!) dependant on compression/turbo condition. You don't really want to be pushing over 14.5PSi really on a stock engine.
  22. No oil pressure can be a result of no oil in the engine, excess bearing clearances (worn/spun bearing shells), worn out/defective oil pump, or a erroneous reading from a bad sender unit. Can probably discount the last one. That engine is more than just a top end rattle. Will need a complete rebuild. There's some serious damage there.
  23. You do not need an RR to know whether the engine is healthy or not! RR is good for optimum mapping, but it is in no way essential what so ever if you're only upping the boost to 14/15PSi. The best and easiest way to check if an Engine is healthy is to hook up conzult to it. You'll have a much better idea of what ALL the sensor are doing and if everything is set up correctly.
  24. Unfortunately, sounds like you bought a complete nail judging by your other threads. How much did you pay for it?
