Ever since I can remember, Fudge bars have been 15p. Imagine my horror when I stopped at the petrol station earlier clutching 30p worth of loose change that I'd accumulated in the ashtray of my car expecting to walk out with two. WRONG! 1 was all that would pass! 17p! I took a photo!

Yes. Black chrome. Also do the rings round the projectors in brushed alloy. This looks better than stock and 29million times better than 'orrible chromed stock backings.

The price of decent ones remain somewhat stable and may go up slightly, but overall, there are so many sheds/badly modified ones still out there, that until these vanish and what's left becomes scarce, the aren't really going to get recognised as a retro classic.

I've never seen the appeal in chromed headlight backings (99-spec ones apart). The OEM black ones look far more mean and aggressive. Certainly something I'd NEVER do is chrome them.

I know, I am in SoCal most summers! The aim is to settle there someday. I am still pursuing an internal transfer to our Chicago facility at some point in the future...then eventually make my way down to California.

Saw this on ebay a number of times before. Hideous! Lots of it! The ill fitting wheels, the urinal on the bonnet, the nostril centre panel, the buggered Veilside bumper (they are bad enough when complete), the caravan rear lights and one of those hateful tailgate tubs. Looks like the owner works for the council as a line painter too.....

Hope he has the funds to fix it!
