  1. First mow? Damn! I've done mine about 5 times already!
  2. Straight off a the back of a Plaxton Beaver. Lamborghini should have tried harder in a few aspects.
  3. $50,000 is only about £35k. You could probably buy a Ferrari 355 for that, but Lamborghinis hold their money pretty well. Countachs especially for some reason. Last time I looked, Diablos were ranging between £60k - £90k! In the US, I'd imagine they retain their value even more.
  4. LOL. Just noticed the location. I'll actually be in Branson, Missouri in June!
  5. Pretty decent effort all things considered. Shite wheels though.
  6. Your torque figure sounds inaccurate. A good exhaust and filter will only release about 10 - 20bhp. Superchips chip are codswallop. I knew someone that fitted a superchips chip, got a slight raise in rev limit, but 1bhp down on stock book figures. As has been said, on the Z, a chip won't alter the performance, merely a fuel map change to cope with supporting modifications...namely a boost increase.
  7. Hey everyone and thanks!! Had a great day! Bit of a mental all nighter last night, BBQ most of the afternoon. Weather's been absolutely spot on too! :)
  8. Yes correct, but the rust is unlikely to be on the scale of, say, StellaZ's old car. It looks well cared for. A good base IMO.
  9. Looking good Daz!
  10. For 67k, the rust will most likely be relatively small.
  11. Surprised this hasn't had any bids on it. Got a few nice little extras too. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RARE-1990-NISSAN-300-ZX-TURBO-RED-UK-MANUAL_W0QQitemZ120551733390QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item1c1171788e
  12. I had fun firing pellets across that lawn! Shame your neighbours' chickens are never out!
  13. Depends what you want out of your car mate. If that is indeed an HKS FMIC then it's a good one and they are mounted as such. Quality SMICS will be just as good. Depends what look you want. I'd personally always go for good SMICs. Not because there is any difference in through-flow of air, but because you can hide the SMICs away a little more discretely allowing you to fit different bumpers. Flush fit FMICs look great on 99-spec / Escort Racing front bumpers.
  14. I wondered what UBS was then....LOL
  15. I am sure car.mad can make stuff out of carbon fibre. Pretty sure he's tried using the stuff. Could try this company ----> http://www.chipstow.co.uk/custom.htm
  16. Not that funny, but she's a real cutie (apart from the fringe).
  17. Very clever, but...
  18. 140 petrol heads up Cheddar Gorge? Damn, that's gonna be a nightmare!
  19. Usually tax it from the months of May through September....but, I've looked outside, seen the weather forecast....looks like our 2 weeks worth of summer is due right at this moment!! Kinda itching to drive it! Just a battery to buy as mine is now 5 years old and has expired!
  20. Goos job! You stink anyway! :p
  21. Worst case I could think of would be sat in a car with a tin roof and no AC. :wack:
  22. Would never remove mine. EVER. It's part of what makes the car the luxo-GT that it is. :) I can't actually remember the last car I had that didn't have air con. My AC is always on. Keeps the inside of the cabin fresh and especially in the winter, keeps the windows de-misted in my daily drivers. Couldn't live without AC now. Nor cruise control.
  23. Welcome to the forum! Nice birthday present!
