  1. Sly advert.....looks like they're trying to sell a turbo timer.
  2. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?170827-Mongoose-LWB-Exhaust
  3. Amazing how little Auto versions go for now. Red JDM car looks really clean. Less chance of rust. The UK one, despite what the dealer suggested is very likely to have rust!
  4. Thought about drilling a hole right through and fitting a series of mirrors....then I thought...narr, I'll just go down to Wickes.
  5. I have a plastboarded ceiling and I think it would be a nightmare unless I have some sort of permanent fixture. Sorry mate. Not what I am thinking about. I kinda thought about that. They're HUGE too! It's an integral garage. Plasterboard ceiling. Above....is a bedroom! Think I'll just get a complete 6ft strip light up there. They're not expensive, but I was just wondering whether that old adapter thing still existed.
  6. I'm in then at that price! I understand they come with fitting hardware too. We (staff members on 3ZC) all like this product.
  7. Yeah I think I need to do the ceiling. It's an integrated garage, so it has a plastboard ceiling. I need to finish painting the floor first.
  8. In my garage I have a regular light socket for your typical incandescent light bulb. Now I'm wanting to fit a strip light in there instead to offer slightly more light and a larger angle of spread, so II'm going to get a strip light fitted. Before I do, I remember seeing a product a few years ago that was basically a long strip-light chassis with a bayonet fixing that you could simply put into the existing socket, thus turning your normal light socket into a strip light chassis. Anyone remember these? I know it's not difficult changing the chassis over, but just wondering if anyone has ever seen these?
  9. FWIW, I've seen these units in person in a number of US spec Z32s when I've been in the States and they're of very good quality, far better than my Z32-Zone one. In addition, they've gone down very well with members on 3ZC.
  10. Installed by Zedtech. lol
  11. Check the fuel pump relay. Just check the fuel when cranking.
  12. When you're cranking at the point of it not firing, is there fuel?
  13. When did you last change the plugs?
  14. My bad, user was Craig David. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?161676-SOLD-Genuine-1999-300ZX-for-sale-SOLD&highlight=purple+spec
  15. Different car. The one at the top is Midnight Purple. It's an ex-club car. I can't remember who's though, might have been SPRAE's. The one at the bottom is black.
  16. Damn! Bad luck mate! Interesting to know whether anyone will pop up with that kit on.
  17. I'd still have to subscribe to SKy though....wouldn't I? I've never bothered with TV as I don't watch much of it. Glad Lewis won. Still such a shame about his chavy earrings!
  18. As long as you didn't try googling 'wheelbarrowdonkeydicks'. I have licence on that one as Lee hated them too! haha. They are rare, but they do come up. Lee does have a spare one I think with some minor damage. Also keep an eye on Japanese Yahoo Auctions - I've bought some stuff on there.
  19. Alas, I wish that was the case, it was done in May....during a hot-snap which pissed me off even more!
  20. Yeah, the Veilside system is the same as mine Stevie. Not the old wheel-barrow-donkey-dicks that Lee use to have. :) In addition, if you're in anyway concerned with noise and droan, try sourcing a Veilside system. They really got the design spot-on. The beautiful deep burble when you want it. No droan, no cabin intrusion and an exotic engine note. If you don't fit dump valves, it'll sound even better...ie, just nice exhaust note.
  21. Yeah, I hate it when they do that. They seem to do it on roads that don't even need resurfacing. At my old house, I lived in a cul-de-sac and the main road that ran close was in good condition and it was barely used so had little traffic. The council decided to spray tar everywhere and lay chippings. It took weeks and weeks and weeks for the chippings to vanish because there was almost no traffic. So it was like driving up and down a gravel driveway, except with razor sharp dusty chippings. I didn't use my Z for 3 weeks. I called the council and tore the planner there a new butt hole. He couldn't give me a valid reason as to why a low-use road that was in good condition would need to be ruined by stone chippings and tar. Useless tossers. Just a waste of money and a mess! I called them a number of times and eventually, they sent out a road sweeper to pick up most of the chippings. A few days later it poured with rain, so a lot of it got sorted, but it's a process I absolutely HATE and see no valid reason for.
  22. There are bodykits for the Z that look good. Unfortunately, the market is filled with horrible looking fibreglass nightmares. Rarely do we see Impul kits, rarely do we see complete Stillen kits, Aeromaster kits, Kaminari or M30Z stuff etc. Alas, it's all copies of Wings West, Greddy or Veilside stuff...or worse. I have no idea why this ever happened. Why all the of the ungainly stuff was copied, I'll never know. The Z32 market is a strange one through-and-through.
