How do I remove the rear seat?
- How do I remove the rear seat?
Are they 10mm? Oh Lordy! *goes outside to double check*- Claiming windscreens through insurance
For reference, cheapest is about £160 (fitted) through National Windscreens. Most expensive - Autoglass - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Autoglass repair, Autoglass rip off.... They all use the PilkingtonK branded glass, rather than the 'Nissan' branded glass that you'd get from the stealership. They're all made by the same factory.- Newbie - from Essex
Create and account on http://www.photobucket.com and upload them, it's all free. You need to host them online. If you subscribe to the club, we have an uploader on this site.- How do I remove the rear seat?
The bench, you pull up from the front edge of the squab. It's clipped in via compression clips. The back just has locator rails on it and it pulls straight out. Seat back is secured by 2 12mm nuts either side, hidden behind the boot carpet (which is clipped to the seat back). Undo those, pop out the carpet from the rear facing section and the seat should come out.- BULBS and lighting. - Help!
Dunno where I got H4 from.:blushing:- Newbie - from Essex
:o ops- BULBS and lighting. - Help!
The two should not be confused; you can't fit Xenon/HID bulbs without ballasts. The 'Xenon look' are just halogen filament lamps tarted up. :)- Newbie - from Essex
Another girlie! That's the second in 2 days! Mandy and Natalie will be pleased! Welcome!- BULBS and lighting. - Help!
....can I also get one thing confirmed; are you suggesting that you've fitted HID/Xenon bulbs and they're worse that standard bulbs? Have you definitely had a full kit fitted or has your mechanic merely fitted xenon-blue halogen blubs? Something is seriously wrong if you've fitted the full HID/ballast kit and they're worse.... Need confirmation whether you've had these fitted: .....or in actual fact, you actually have these:- BULBS and lighting. - Help!

Just fit universal hID kit, H3 or H4 (depending on whether your car is an import or not). 4300k will give you the brightest output. Do not go over 6000k. It looks terrible and will give you a lower light output. Advisable to give the ellipsoid lens and glass a really thorough clean before installing. You'll need to remove the headlights for this. A thorough clean will help anyway. As for the link, avoid, they're for specific fitment, and the connector is that for a BMW. You'd need the full kit which include ballasts etc.- Claiming windscreens through insurance
Read your T&Cs. Failing that, give them a call and ask 'whether claiming on a windscreen will either affect your NCB or premium'.- Claiming windscreens through insurance
Screen claims should not affect your premium.- Just got the Zed back from Zworld. Thanks Jeff
This is one thing I WILL get round to doing this year!- Was very lucky could have been alot worse
Gutted dude. So do you claim off your neighbour's insurance or do you have to claim from your own?- K222 PUP - New member from Newcastle
My father keeps calling it that, despite telling him for nearly a decade that it's a 300zx.....he still calls it a ZX300!- Just picked up on this one in may....
Looks like my kinda event that one! I'll be out of the country again when it's on though. :( It would have been a 'definite' from me otherwise! Bit closer and likely cheaper than Goodwood!- Hey there
40k miles and rust? Kinda doubt the mileage is genuine, saying that, skirts are terrible for holding in the moisture and aiding in the rusting process, but with the seats as they are and the condition of the interior and some other plastics, it's likely to have considerably more mileage on it than 40k; a lot of Z32s have been clocked. Good luck with it all though, glad that bodykit is being removed!- 1995 Silver Series IV Slicktop Version S - Taking To Another Level
^^ that's what I want to do to mine eventually! 96+ fannymould, polished and powercoated shadow-chrome, same for the throttle housings and some nice Infiniti J30 throttle covers....in the same finish.- Original JDM Z hand book
I could probably get good monies for these in the US.- Was very lucky could have been alot worse
Damn Scott!! Only just seen this! Glad you and your family are ok. What is the overall status of your house? Is it still habitable or have you guys had to move out? Hope the loss adjusters and insurance company get you sorted ASAP!- Idle issues
Spend some time on the TPS. I've added the voltage figure above. :) - How do I remove the rear seat?
