Canadian Lancaster UK Tour
Such a shame her flight path won't be anywhere near me! WW2 Piston engine planes just sound simply glorious. My parents live in Glastonbury, right on the edge of the town and their back garden is pretty much the entire Somerset levels (they're on the side of a hill - so no flooding), but before and after Yeovilton, those that have been displaying there fly back through and pretty much over the top of my parents' house at quite low levels and the noise is sublime! The wonderful deep droan as they pass overhead.

Looking for an a-pillar trim. Needs to have ALL clips intact, with no marks, holes, digs or scratches on it either. Looking for driver side only.

HID question - balast on its way out?
Yeah somewhere. Measurements were taken on a number of bulbs and their outputs/projection pattern. I'll see if I can find it.

HID question - balast on its way out?
The fitment is different too. H3 bulbs never really fit that well, where as the H3C has a different mount on it which gives a more secure and easier fit.

HID question - balast on its way out?
Incorrect, there is a difference that I am not going to ignore. The fitment of H3C is FAR better than the H3, in addition, the orb is a different size designed for the H3C fitment giving less light bleed as it sits slightly further back in the projector. If I can get H3C then I will as a preference in getting it spot-on. It is available.

HID question - balast on its way out?
I have been thinking about going with 4300k. I think mine (from memory) are 6000k. I hate the blue ones; 8000k and upwards are awful and look nasty (and have a lower light output. 6000k isn't bad though, but I want it to look a little more 'oem' so when I come to replace them, I'll get some 4300k with H3C fitment (currently have H3 fitment).

PowerZed forged engine rebuild
Dammit, would have bought those if you still have them. Will stick to plan A then and will bring back some Z1 SMICs when I go over in October. Thanks though.

Howard, what did you do with your old intercoolers? You went from Z1 SMIC to Z1 BA SMIC

HID question - balast on its way out?
What is the difference in terms of light output from 35w to 55w? I've always based it on the kelvin scale. If I were to have 2 HID kits at say, 4300k one at 35w and one at 55w, what would be the visual difference? Would there be one?

Fantastic Andrew! :)

HID question - balast on its way out?
No idea. There are so many out there. Remember to get H3C rather than H3. H3 bulbs will fit, but not as well as H3C. H3C also has a different sized bulb too which is designed for the optics of H3C fitment rather than H3. There's an HID forum too, have a scout around that.

HID question - balast on its way out?
The 'best' is probably Philips, but you're looking at circa £200 for one of their kits.

HID question - balast on its way out?
The square things are ballasts, the things in the clear tubes are bulbs, the wires....well, they're just wires!

HID question - balast on its way out?
After returning from a little jaunt down the coast, I got out and noticed my offside headlight was out. It's done this before but quite a while ago. Jiggled around with the ballast and connectors without turning them off and it made no difference. Turned the lights off for a short while and then decided to try them again - the headlight that was out, miraculously starts working again. Anyone else experienced this?

What did you do to your zed today?

whos z is this ? some one here ?
You know, if you did do that, I could make an epic youtube video involving pelting it with dog turds, smashing the hell out of it with a hatchet before setting it on fire!

Big improvement. Looks good. :)

Bit of a silly question...
I think they are. The matrix is different and I am pretty sure it's in a slightly different position. I'd need to double check on that one.

Interesting road name.
My sister lives in Munich and was out visiting friends in Zornerding, a suburb of Munich when she came across the below! Rather amusing! I've been to Minge Lane in Upton and Bell End in Birmingham, I have also driven my Z through Condom in south Western France as well as Anus which is about an hour south west of Paris. Doesn't beat '****ing' or '****' in Austria - those places do exist! But anyway, welcome to **** Street!

Mystery misfire
Wondering what's worse, the colour coding on the engine bay or the incorrect coloured wires!

whos z is this ? some one here ?
Yeah they're nice. No silly pointless vents, mesh or awkward angles, just pleasing to the eye and complimentary to the car's lines.

Absolutely! The bodykit brigade has largly moved on, thankfully. There are nice kits out there, but you rarely see them (Stillen, Impul, TwinZ). This thing however represents everything that is or rather 'was' wrong with Z32 modification. Welcome to the 90s!
