Get some more photos up. Specifically of the interior.

1998 n/a
If it's an import, the log book would only contain information from the date of import. It may be a genuine 1998, but for the underside to be covered in rust after being stood for a long time would mean it hasn't had much exposure to UK roads and that is why I am suspect of its year of manufacture. Being registered in 1998 does not mean it was manufactured in 1998.

Wondering whether it would be 98 as import year and it's actually an earlier model. That does tend to happen with imports, their year registration in the UK is often mistakenly put into the year of manufacture box when the DVLA are issuing registration documents etc....

Imports rust, sure, no different to the UK models, but if they're not being used, the underside should remain dry. I'd be very suspicious of its history/model year.

HELP! Im pulling my hair out!!
I recommend a Seat Leon FR170tdi. I absolutely love mine! They look funky, the build quality is good, they're based on the Golf GT TDi with slightly firmer springs, so handling is just fantastic. Mine has the optional 18s, so it really feels sorted out on the road. It's a good cruiser (has 6 speed & cruise control etc), it's really pokey with the 170hp engine, but it's the torque that is just awesome on it, it has nearly 270lbs ft of torque, which isn't far off of a standard Z32 TT! So mid-range, it pulls like a steam train and to be honest, off the mark, it doesn't hang around either. With TC switched off, it'll wheel spin in 3rd! This is my one, it's the mildly facelifted version of the MK2 which I doubt your budget would stretch to. They fitted quieter engines, revised trim, bumpers and rear end to these, but you'd likely get an earlier one for your budget. With a re-map, you'd get over 200hp and nearly 300lbs ft of torque whilst returning 40mpg. The engines are bullet proof, so don't be afraid of higher mileage examples. If you can stretch your budget a little more, try and get a later model like mine as they look a little better. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-LEON-2-0-TDI-FR-170-BHP-57-REG-/171415005841?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item27e9216a91 Here are a few.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-56-SEAT-LEON-FR-2-0-TDI-170-BHP-6-SPEED-DIESEL-BLACK-/281398528940?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4184a8cbac

Steve Millen and his No.75 300ZX at Monterey
Dammit! I wish I'd been allowed to take photos of that car when I went to Stillen Motorsports in May. It was still in bits when I was there, I did remember Gerry (one of the managers) mentioning them building it up for Monteray. I wasn't allowed to take photos, but to see it in the flesh was pretty awesome. When I saw it, the front and rear clams were both off, so it was just the central cell that resembled what it is here.

Drivers door won't open
Unlikely.

Drivers door won't open
If the latch is jammed, go to the outside of the car and push the door really hard and then pull the handle.

Gullwing doors
Think he's talking about this. Personally I am not keen. It's nicer than hateful 'lambo doors' which should be sent to Satan's commode. These just look bizarre.

BMW I8 who has seen one?
Not seen one out on the road, but I saw one in February at the BMW Museum in Munich. They do look amazing. It only has a 3-cylinder engine though doesn't it? Appreciate it's hybrid and has good power, but other than than its physical appearance, I am no fan of the sound of 3-cylinder motors.....they remind me of this! As for the comments on TVR, the last beautiful and sexy TVR was the Cerbera.

Only thing that one needs are a set of genuine 99-spec rear lights. I've known that car and Allan ever since I bought mine! Bloody years!

Certainly not my thing. Anymore photos of your engine bay?

Z has lively rear end!
Could be anything from worn bushes to worn track rod ends or inner HICAS arms. You need to get the thing up in the air to have a play about.

Pair of JDM mirrors + JDM front mud guards
Need the folding mirrors as fitted to JDM vehicles and a pair of front mud guards. Anyone got any going spare? They're for a friend of mine out in California.
