  1. A brand new 98+ gearbox will feel like a brand new early gearbox. The fact of the matter is, if you want to buy a new gearbox, the only one you can still buy is the 98+ version which has higher quality syncos meaning that it will take more of a beating before it starts to wear. I also believe that there are some components that aren't available anymore for the Z32 transmission. I can't remember which ones however. Jaffa bought a brand new 98+ gearbox and so did MadMax (Bobgenie might still have that transmission).
  2. VERY difficult. Buying parts from Japan is one of the hardest things you can do! lol. Also, shipping costs are crazy expensive. The best option for that would be to see whether RHD Japan could get it for you and ship it from Japan. You'd need an agent if you want to deal with z32-zone as they don't speak English there and I also think their CC system only accepts Kana. There are some stocks of the 98+ gearboxes in the US anyway.
  3. Mine's 3/4 size from http://www.fancyplates.com
  4. Does anyone have a UK front and a rear ARB knocking around? Must in half decent condition, no rotten wonders please - these will of course be being shot blasted and powdercoated black, so light surface scab and tatty paint is acceptable. **MUST be from a UK vehicle (thicker)**
  5. Just drive into a kerb a few times, should all come off...lol
  6. The casting is different as the bearing is mounted to a small stub that bolts into the rear knuckle.
  7. Import front plates are horrible - like a giant white-board stuck to the front.....offset plates also look pretty poop - as do most things that are a-symmetrical.
  8. NGK BKR7E are the ones you want.
  9. Thanks chaps! I'm over the moon! With my quest for 'showroom' condition coming closer!
  10. Collected my brand new early style headlights today! They make me moist! These were discontinued for many years and this last 'known' new set are now mine! I've been bugging the seller for YEARS for these! Mine are in pretty good shape, but they aren't new, these look fresh, crisp and lovely with really bright and clean reflectors! Yum!
  11. New number plates!? :p :)
  12. MOST AWESOME! Be good to see you again mate!
  13. Haha! That's hilarious! What time were you there? Guess I was there about 3.30.
  14. Sure did. Really impressed with the quality and Warren's a super nice guy.
  15. Just picked up these from the powder coaters! Very happy with the finish. Just need to press in my Nismo bushes and fit (with brand new OEM nuts and bolts). :)
  16. To add to the above, different waxes and sealants work differently with different colours. Something like Collinite 476s hard wax is good on whites, but not so good on darker colours. Something like a Meguires Gold Class is better on darker colours and so on. Some colours also work better with sealants rather than waxes.
  17. Nope, you can still buy those. These are the early ones (which I think look better anyway). :)
  18. Sourced myself a BRAND NEW set of original OEM headlights! Been after these for years now (they went NLS nearly a decade ago). Mine are in good condition, but these are MINT! Still in boxes. :) Finally persuaded the owner to sell them! lol Took a long time!
  19. Hahahahahhahaha!
  20. Could also try Baz....he's breaking this (has been for ages - not sure what's left), he might have a pair also. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300zx-JDM-Import-Breaking-For-Spares-Wheel-Nut-/151716499557?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2353021065
