Didn't live on one I'm afraid and never have. I was taught right from wrong though.

Ok! Older Mercs do rot for a past time and that's a fact! :)

Battle? There's nothing to battle!

No it isn't. Old Mercs are utter rot boxes with poor electrics. The engines are pretty bomb proof, but that's about it.

I had an E90 320D M-Sport a few years ago (08 plate). Thought the build quality was good. I hate the early I-Drive though, awful thing and the fact that it would only let you input half a postcode.

 What did they get that from?

My new Z and her 'issues'
Agreed. The NA creates a lot of resonance and are a more raspy sounding engine. They sound better with the cats on.

UK vs JAP Rear Bumper
They're not motorbike reg plates. Motorbike reg plates are square, similar to 4x4 plates. Correct JDM plates are rectangular if cut correctly. :p

UK vs JAP Rear Bumper
Exactly. So the 19s and and Japanese bumper can't be that bad! I'm not missing the point by the way. I can appreciate all the work and effort gone into something - it would never make my mind up on whether I actually liked it or not. :)

UK vs JAP Rear Bumper
This has had LOADS of work done to it....feckin' awful though!

UK vs JAP Rear Bumper
I like both in equal measure. If I had a UK car, without doubt, I'd keep the UK bumper. I am happy with my Jap bumper though for its little quirks.

UK vs JAP Rear Bumper
Yeah, whatever, still can't be that bad if it's one of your favourites. ;)

LOL, your favourite car on the forum has all of that and 19" wheels! Can't be that bad!

My names Tom and I have an addiction...
Nice one and good save! Once that spoiler has been removed and some nice wheels fitted, it will lift the car instantly. Good luck with the project! - - - Updated - - - ....liking the colour coded recovery vehicle too!

UK vs JAP Rear Bumper
I did consider a UK rear bumper for a while, but my preference is Jap rear. I like both, but the Jap bumper looks a little more exotic (especially with numbers all on one line on a correctly cut number plate), they look a little shitty with a regular 4x4 style number plate with lettering on 2 lines. I also love the illuminated side markers.
