Hi gang. Right, this weekend, I am going to go and have a look and a test drive on a Zed which I've put a small holding deposit on at a Jap dealership in Slough. Reason I've put a holding deposit on it? Well, it's a very low mileage import (rated grade4) so should really be a very good example. It's manual and is TT. So is exactly what I am looking for. Well, I am pretty technically minded and a fairly competent self taught mechanic, but I don't really have a clue what I'm looking for with a zed. I have printed out a copy of the fact sheet thing on the site, but really would like a zedder along with me as a second opinion. 4 eyes are better than 2 and someone with good knowledge would really be of great benefit. So, I'm going to have a look at this car on Saturday. If anyone's available, please could they let me know. I'll collect you and drop you off, so no expense will be incurred. Thanks in advance. Si

Wonder if zedworld can get one. I do like them. I'll go against the grain though and say I actually prefer the earlier front bumpers.

Arrrrrrrr, so you drive a straddle carrier then? Cool. I studied at Southampton Institute for a degree in Shipping Operations. After working in the MOD for 4 years I got made redundant, was in and out of work for about 2 years. Start work as a ship's agent in Bristol in September if all goes to plan. Currently doing a fill-in job for an electronics marketing company doing promotion events and web advertising. It's crap.

Me too Dave. Itching to get it. Only a matter of weeks now....just hope I can take a zedder along with me next weekend to properly view the car.

This is a reasonably close match. Nice and subtle. Has yet another high level brakelight! Would end up disconnecting the one in the tailgate and just running the one in the spoiler. Reckon it would suit this?

Thanks for the link. Yeah Dave, would love a M30Z spoiler (Tommy Kaira), but I am sure these are either devilishly expensive or unavailable. I am only thinking about it. Will see when I get te car if I yern to it's naked back end! LOL

Can people just post up photos of after market rear spoilers (subtle ones). Need some ideas for something. Ta

One of the nicest places I've ever been to....and I've been to a lot of countries. Is a place in Georgia (USA) called Savannah and it's small coastal resort of Tybee Island. Could have stopped there forever. Never been so chilled out.

Speak to Zedworld in Tamworth, they have a good reputation and Jeff will find you a good one.

Yeah, thought it best time. Will need some help from you friendly zedders anyway as I put a holding deposit on a nice low milage TT Zed today. :D Head is now up the clouds. :) Providing this is all 100%, this should be mine in a few weeks time. :)

Amazing how much better that is when getting rid of the tweed. How much is leather then compared to vinyl?

I sure am...but scared also. For some reason the cars scare me...especially doing something like this. I will indeed have a good look at it before I do hand over all the money...will 'try' and take a zedder along with me...I'll have to ask legarth or mrogers if they'd like to come along with me. :) I'll probably subscribe tomorrow as well....head's in the clouds whirlwind style.... Can't get any photos from the Jap side....the guy on the phone actually got it wrong. It arrives in Southampton tomorrow....I spoke to the actual owner of http://www.import-ance.co.uk and he seems quite a nice chap, well spoken etc.
