LOL! It stays in the garage if it breaks...it's staying standard pretty much, so no straining it!! It's also not going to be used as a daily driver. I'm getting a new company car soon which can chew up the motorway and get covered in shit and stone chips.

Getting quite excited now. Just had an email from the dealer I'm getting it from. Car has now arrived in Southampton and clearance papers have been submitted. Car is being delivered today or tomorrow. :mac1: On Saturday myself Richard Smith and Gio are going to have a good look over it and take it for a drive. So I'll put down a proper deposit then as I only have a holding deposit. :hyper: Sorry for this rather boring thread......

Yeah, Gran's car is done very very well. Has things on it generally that I wouldn't like, such as the rather large bumpers, it also has afterburner lights which generally I'm not keen on, but Gran pulled it off with this one...here's another pic...everything works well on it.

I personally wouldn't do, would get a fascia professionally made/fettled with. Would sooner pay money and have a specially made one and fit it. :)

Cheers Dave. Any photos of any of them done? I'd like to do it...so that it looks factory of course. But to have it flush with the same angle as the centre consol itself.

Not all that keen on them to be honest. They look ok on cars with framless doors like Zeds, but there are too many of these things popping up..... Some more cars with framed doors....this looks almost as bad... ...even worse on 5 door cars... This looks nice though....

Where abouts in West London? Myself, Richard Smith and Gio are going to have a look at a Zed I've placed a deposit on sometime around midday in Stroud if you're about....bit of a mini-meet.

I'll bring my trusty runabout Cavalier....and park it in the hedge!! LOL My 'decent' car will have been sold by then (it has a deposit on its head)....fingers crossed. :)

Considering it, providing I have my Zed by then (which I should). Can kill 2 birds with one stone as I used to live in Worcester (not far). I'll let you know nearer the time....pretty desperate to go.

Check the alternator is charging? Check the condition of the earth straps?

Exotic cars tend not to be frowned on as much with respect to tints. It's younguns driving around in their Saxos with binliner tints that get up their noses. I shall be going for the lightest tint available when I get my zed. As for the price, erm, 10 - 20 is rather optimistic. More like 150 - 200 for a decent job.
