I've heard LV they are doing all sorts and even not insuring modified cars. But up until recently, they've been insuring my V6 Astra...only canceled the insurance on that last week. Not even got a quote for the zed yet and I'm picking it up soon! :rofl:

ALL Halfrauds stuff is expensive. IE, I bought a new lower ball joint for one of my cars a few months ago (It was Sunday and I tore the seal on it whilst taking a strut out). So only option was to replace it. Now, I know these things for this particular car were about 6 or 7 quid from a motorfactors. 25pounds from Halfrauds....same make as well!!!!!! Anyway, 'RING' dual tone horns from a good accessory shop are something like 15pounds. Please excuse my lack of pound sign, I'm on a US laptop which doesn't have UK keys or UK keyboard extension....

Just had a call from Inchcape Shipping.....I got the job as Ship's Agent which I've been hanging in the balance for for nearly 4 months now!! Start on the 1st of September, totally chuffed to bits!! There are two types aren't there? Can't remember their names. One works off a real-time database and works via GPS. Senses where you are and alerts you that why. Whilst true radar detectors pick up X-band radar emissions (I think) and alert you that way which is why they can pick up the mobile/handheld radar guns.

One thing I'll really really need to get is a radar detector for my Z......it's a licence looser at the best of times.

Renault Magnums make the same noise......... I'll not be fitting dump valves. The noise they make doesn't actually impress me...other than the fact they do sweet FA. Wastgate chatter does though. :)
