Fast but ugly!

Fuel doesn't go stale in cold climates like it does when it's warm/hot. Don't think it's entirely necessary. But wouldn't hurt. My zed won't be used in the winter. Don't want the paintwork ruined and also don't want the added probability of either loosing control or some other person hitting me. Chances of this are doubled in the winter. I have a Cavalier to smash up if the needs be. :rofl:

I can get closer for sure. I'm not that tall, only 5ft 10. So 'could' squeeze in the back. Where abouts will be traveling through?

My zed comes with a Momo steering wheel, but the CC has be disconnected. Now, instead of placing a button on the dash or something, I was thinking about trying to get hold of the cc and indicator stalks from the US. They come up on US ebay from time to time and seem cheap enough. Has anyone done this? IIRC, the indicators are on the left hand side of the steering wheel like most European motors. This correct? Ta

Coil packs shouldn't be primed though with just the ignition on. Doesn't the ECU trigger them by recieving a pulse from the knock sensor?

Good lad! I put half my engine through the dishwasher last year (non Zed) and totally buggered it up!! Wasn't the most popular person for doing that! :rofl:

Only minor problems though....lights and a rattle. Heat sheilds work themselves loose. In test drive, mine was rattling around big style. Mine were the turbo heat sheilds though.

Right I see...still shows my almost non-existant turbo knowledge then. I'll learn I guess.

I am still unsure as to safety boost and standards boost. AFAIK, standard boost is just under 7psi is it not? My Zed boosts well over that. If does have an aftermarket ECU and all seems fine.

I can't find the link to the ones you can get for cars, but basically, they replace the normal bulbs with a small array about the same size as a bulb. You'll not get that even spread of LEDs like you do in the BMW/Merc lights. I'm guessing you'd have to make your own array if you wanted the Zed lights to look like that. What the LED Cluster bulbs do is act in the same way as the BMW lights, so you get a brighter more defined light and also when flashing, it doesn't fade on and off like conventional bulbs do.
